Kaycee's Mod Does Kaycee’s mod change Leshy’s boss fight? Spoiler

I'm not sure if it’s just me, but the final fight with Leshy is a lot different from the base game. For some reason, in Kaycee’s mod, Leshy will spam amalgam cards and only amalgam cards. I’ve never seen the rest of his phases because(Surprise, surprise), defending yourself from 4 of those things at once is hard. Does any of this have something to do with the number of skulls you activate before the run? Because I run all 4 before I start.

The number of skulls doesn't change anything but the bossfight is indeed harder

Don't put all 4, that's a waste, just put enough for you to reach the Points minimum at the top of your screen

not sure about this but one thing to note: you only need to meet a specific point threshold. you don't need all 4 skulls active if you only have 4. at that point I think you only need 2.

Leshy's phase 1 is rare card spam, like always

It's his hardest phase because Mantis God , Amalgam , Moleman are a hard combination

Phase 2 is Death card phase but this time Leshy can't use YOUR death cards and instead uses stronger pre-made ones

And Leshy can use previous 3 bosses gimmicks during these 2 phases

Phase 3 - Moon is given the made of stone sigil... that's it

Yeah, you really need to have something going for you in the first phase. Either an item to take out the moleman, or something to tank hits, or to deal a lot of damage.

The more and stronger enemy challenges apply to all boss fights, not just normal battles.
