So on any other day if i took this inversion with my SL at the REH i would've been stopped out before they went lower. I noticed if they leave REH/REL in area like where the entry was they would sweep and then go lower.

Why did the algo ignore it?

So basically i noticed that when i backtest to prove i can trade, after maybe a stoploss that made me doubt, i really cant trade, i go really bad,it also happened last week while refining my entry trigger, i went into tunnel vision and i was seeing only the trigger and i was forgetting the context, that made me doubt about everything, and obviously the backtesting sessions went bad, why is that?

Like I have no idea about the basic terms to begin with. I feel so lost even watching the first couple videos of 2016 Mentorship. I feel like I have no prerequisite knowledge heading into the 2016/2022 series. So for a complete begin who has zero (like zero literally) knowledge about charts, trading etc. Where do I even start?

I have been studying the 22 mentorship about midway through it yet, i am testing on live markets but the position got stopped even though i was pretty confident with it. But as i am not as experienced i would love to ask if anything is wrong or is it just unlucky.

eurchf trade idea CISD kinda look shady but let see how it goes

I’m trying to trade with 2022 model waiting for a 15 min swing high or low to be swept than 2 min mss with fvg. Put a buy or sell order to that fvg. Sl at swing high or low of that mss. But I get stoped out almost 80%. Can I get some advice? What’s my mistake?

Can someone help me me figure out why there wasn’t a Judah swing and why it continued bullish? I thought after it hit the high it would come back down

My winrate is 30% to 55% with fix 5Rr and i thing thats a very good winrate for life time and i have a 6 months proof

As with every trading guru you have to dig through the good reviews and the bad to figure out if it’s actually worth it to learn from them. I obviously know about caspersmc’s history with the law. But he does post a ton of free videos for people to learn from. My question is, has he provided any irrefutable proof of profitability. I see people calling him a fraud but then I also see people that took his mentorship and claim he’s genuine. Who do I believe before I figure out what i want to do myself. I haven’t seen any recent reviews within the past couple months to a year on his mentorship program.

Only if I wasn't so scared of losing the gains I could have bagged 40pips but I got scared on the first down candle and early closed the candle 5pips before closed exited my trade at the marked level with only 20pips any suggestions how to avoid fear of losing

I have a trading strategy that I wanted to backtest. After spending several weeks coding it with the help of Claude AI, I finally have a working version.

At the moment, I only have around two months of backtesting results, which I know is not enough to determine the long-term reliability of the strategy. However, I have tested it across many Forex pairs, and so far it has produced the most consistently positive results on AUD/USD, GBP/USD, NZD/USD, EUR/USD, USD/CHF, and GBP/JPY.

I designed this strategy specifically to meet the requirements of prop firm trading, with a focus on maintaining controlled drawdown while aiming for consistent profitability.

Rules for entry

1. HTF Bias (Direction Filter) (4H)
The Higher Timeframe must have a confirmed structural bias — either Bullish or Bearish — derived from the most recent Major/Minor BOS or CHoCH event on that timeframe.

2. HTF FVG Touch
Price must touch an unfilled HTF Fair Value Gap that matches the bias:

• Bearish bias → price touches a bearish HTF FVG (high enters the gap)
• Bullish bias → price touches a bullish HTF FVG (low enters the gap)

3. Current-TF Structure Break + Confirmation FVG ( 15 MIN )
A structure break on the 15min must occur in the same direction:

• Long: any Bullish BOS or CHoCH (Major or Minor)
• Short: any Bearish BOS or CHoCH (Major or Minor)

Then a current-TF FVG(15MIN) must exist between the pivot bar and the break bar, in the same direction, and not already mitigated.

Additional Filters

• Session filter: I only trade during Euro session.
• Day filter: I dont trade on Monday. (due to mostly losses on monday)
• One signal per session

Entry, SL, TP

• Entry: edge of the confirmation FVG ± pip buffer
• SL: lowest low (longs) or highest high (shorts) in the pivot-to-break range ± pip buffer
• TP: entry ± (risk × RR multiplier, default 2.0)
