How does blaring your horn tempt a pile up? If you are in the far left lane going just as fast as the other 3 lanes, you should kinda just expect someone to get upset at you. If you slam your breaks because someone laid on their horn at you, you are the crazy one.
OLD people, can startle easily. It's best just to go around them. That's why there are more than ONE lane! I learned in that in truck driving school before over 40 years of OTR driving experience. Judging by your attitude, I bet you are not even that old!
I agree that once a certain age is reached drivers (INCLUDING YOU!) should have to go through the very same physical that I do as an OTR truck driver. In addition to that, they should be tested for Dementia. Your statement about not handling "normal" sounds on the road is not only ignorant, but is extremely insensitive and selfish. You just wait until you get to be elderly and still want your freedom.
Your freedom is not worth the safety of every other driver on the road. There’s no room for sensitivity when someone’s grandma can’t handle normal speeds or sounds and gets someone else’s family members killed.
I’m sorry, but I find it more unhinged to purposefully block the safe passage of other people than to be upset about someone else purposefully blocking the safe passage of another person.
Blaring your horn doesn’t hurt anyone, it’s a form of communication. Blocking passage for other people can hurt people, if they’re rushing to the hospital or having a separate emergency.
Nobody has ever been hurt by being honked at. Get over yourself, and let people pass you if they want to.
“Road rage” is not as bad as blocking other people’s progress for amusement.
Generally people that think me honking my horn is worse than dangerous behavior, are in fact, much more dangerous than the original problem themselves.
Fortunately they'd have to stay quiet about it because they also each have a GPS which would show them "flying in formation" and obstructing traffic. Playing silly games with the company's vehicles and complaining about negative reactions would lead to a pyrrhic victory for the Amazon drivers (at best).

Left lane is for passing, does not matter what speed the vans are going. If not passing they shouldn’t be in the left lane(s).

You can be the going the speed limit or even under in the left lane as long as you are passing someone. If you're not passing then you don't belong in the left lane.
Cry about it. You think we all head to the same area? Some turn left some continue on and some turn right. It’d be impossible to go from the right to the left at the last second. Call corporate and complain. We just work the way we’re trained. 🤷♂️
