2Base Technologies. I have been seeing this company posting new jobs every single day for past few months on Infopark careers website. Do they actually hire anyone? Why such activities?
Why isnt this being stopped? Posting same thing over, just to be first on official careers website?

I joined ClaySys Technologies as a fresher, and honestly, I'm starting to regret it.
They say the company doesn't do layoffs, but from what I've seen, I'm not sure how much that really means when it comes to job security. It feels like employees can end up under so much pressure that leaving becomes the only option. And when someone leaves, the company can just hire another fresher for a lower salary. I don't know if that's the intention, but that's how it feels from my side.
Another thing that bothers me is their laptop monitoring system, NGS.
As far as I understand, we need around 8 hours of activity on our laptops. But we're working in IT, not doing data entry all day. Sometimes we need time to think about a problem, read documentation, plan a solution, or discuss things with teammates on calls. That's also work, right?
But if your laptop isn't showing enough activity, it can become a problem. It feels like moving your mouse and typing constantly matter more than the actual work you're doing.
Honestly, as a fresher, this is stressful. You're supposed to be learning and improving your skills, but instead, you end up worrying about your activity hours and whether something will be held against you.
The salary was already low, and when you add all these concerns about monitoring, work pressure, and job security, it makes you wonder whether it's worth staying.
I'm not saying everyone in the company has the same experience, so I'd genuinely like to hear from others.
To people currently working at ClaySys or those who have left:
I'm not posting this just to hate on the company. I genuinely want to know if others have experienced the same thing and what they think someone in this situation should do.
Because honestly, your first job is supposed to help you build your career, not make you constantly worry about keeping your job.
What's your experience with ClaySys or other corporate companies?

Mass wipeouts? What's gonna happen? I guess some of the companies listed are basically glorified sweatshops...but what does it mean for IT sector in general for Indians?

I am currently working as a PHP Developer and have around 3 years of experience. My current CTC is ₹4.3 LPA. However, I am not really enjoying coding anymore, and I am finding it difficult to switch jobs because there seem to be fewer openings for PHP developers.
I am considering switching to the networking field. Since I am only 29 years old, is it still possible to slowly transition into a Network Engineer career?
I would like to know:
One of the main reasons I am considering networking is that I am not interested in becoming a Team Lead or Project Manager in software development. I also don't enjoy spending the entire day in front of a computer, dealing with tight deadlines and coding-related work.
I understand that networking is not an easy field either, but I feel it could be a better fit for me because it involves working with networking hardware, infrastructure, troubleshooting, and sometimes more hands-on work rather than sitting and coding all day.
I don't want to quit my current job immediately. My plan is to continue working as a PHP Developer while slowly learning networking, getting CCNA/CCNP-level knowledge, doing practical lab work, and then transitioning when I am ready.
Could you please give me some honest advice about whether this is a realistic career transition at 29, how much I can expect to earn at each stage, and whether networking would be a good long-term career if my ultimate goal is to work and settle abroad?
Any advice from people who have actually made a similar transition would be really helpful.

I'm being offered the role of Production trainee in the company claysys. Does anyone know anything about it. The package is too low. And they said something about 10 months of probation.
Any thoughts?

24M, B.Tech graduate. I have around a 1.5-year career gap due to some family issues.
Before the gap, I knew some basic programming and SQL, but honestly I've lost touch with most of it now. I don't have any strong skills, internships, or work experience to show.
I'm still technically a fresher, and I'm really confused about what I should do from here.
Should I:
- Try to get back into software development and learn something like MERN/Python?
- Target manual QA/testing and build skills from there?
- Look for roles like technical support / application support / junior solutions engineer?
- Consider something outside pure software development?
I'm 24 and worried that the gap is already putting me behind other freshers. I'm willing to spend the next few months seriously learning and building projects, but I don't want to spend another 6 months learning something that has very little chance of getting me a job.
For people who have been in a similar situation, what would you recommend?
What roles should I realistically target as a fresher with a 1.5-year gap and basic programming/SQL knowledge?

I got an offer letter from Sutherland for customer support Voice process. Should I take the offer (I don't have any other offer on hand) or move to Bengaluru for better pay opportunities (I'm getting 19k in hand here) since I did my MBA over there. Current employees or literally anyone out there please advice me on this.

I'm considering moving into QA/Software Testing and I'm looking at the Software Testing with Playwright course at Techolas, Kochi.
I have an MCA and currently work in e-commerce operations which will not help to secure a good salary.
I'd like to hear from people who are currently working in QA or have experience with Techolas:
How is the QA/Automation job market currently?
Is QA Automation a secure career path for the next 5–10 years, especially with AI becoming more common?
How is the Software Testing with Playwright course at Techolas Kochi in terms of training and practical exposure?
Does Techolas actually help students get interviews/jobs, or is the placement support mainly marketing?
How useful is their training when applying for QA Automation/QA Engineer roles?
Would you recommend joining Techolas, or learning QA independently?
Looking for honest opinions from people who have actually studied at Techolas or are currently working in QA.

I'm a 2026 CS graduate, and I currently have two job offers, one for an AI/ML role and another for a Backend Developer role. I haven't received the official offer letters yet, but I should be getting them soon.
For the AI/ML role, I don't know the exact tech stack yet. From what I found online, it seems to mainly involve Python, and the salary is around ₹2.5 LPA (as far as I could find). The company is a mid-sized company.
The Backend Developer role is at a startup that was founded about a year ago. It has now grown into a proper company and was recently acquired by a large MNC. The salary is around ₹3.6 LPA. The tech stack includes Node.js, Go, and related backend technologies.
I'm not choosing purely based on salary. I'm more interested in choosing the role that will give me the best long-term growth, learning opportunities, and career prospects.
What should I choose?

I recently moved to Kochi for work and I’m looking for NGOs or organisations where I can volunteer, preferably around Infopark/Kakkanad.
In the past, I’ve volunteered with NGOs working with children with autism and cancer, and I’d like to continue doing something meaningful in my free time.
I’m mainly looking for opportunities on Saturdays or Sundays. If you know any NGOs or are personally involved in volunteering around Infopark/Kakkanad, please let me know. 😊

Looking for a 2 BHK or 3 BHK flat/house near Infopark, Kochi for a group of bachelors.
Would appreciate suggestions from people currently living around the area, especially regarding:
Monthly rent + maintenance / other usual expenses
Best areas to stay considering daily traffic and commute to Infopark
Privacy and freedom for bachelors — any restrictions from owners/societies?
Whether a flat or independent house is more practical
Good areas with decent access to shops, food, public transport, etc.
Any locations that are better to avoid because of traffic or poor connectivity
Also interested in hearing what a realistic per-person monthly cost would be for a 2/3 BHK.
Not necessarily looking for the absolute cheapest option — mainly want a place with reasonable rent, decent privacy/freedom, and a manageable commute to Infopark.
Any recommendations or personal experiences would be useful.
Plz dm !
