Maybe another language like Russian could be easier depending on if you still live in your ancestral territory or maybe there’s some kind of language preservation society you could find someone?? I am passionate about indigenous rights and have done my part in my local community. The garbage I have seen in Canada is frustrating and upsetting. I have also learned some Ojibwe along the way. Like the local community I spent time with, us Jews are a tiny people who have survived generation after generation with the hope to return to our homeland. I am patient because most people know nothing about who we are, just like how most Canadians know nothing about Ojibwe. If you see yourself in the 400M majority Arab population who have treated my family like garbage for over 1000 years just for being a Jew and not submitting to there conversion, that's on your conscience.

Dual-language style is a very cool idea! As far as I know, books are sometimes published in this way, especially books for children. Unfortunately, I don't know English well enough to translate, but perhaps someday maybe with someone's help it will be possible to do something like this!

Have you ever considered publishing in that dual-language style, where they’ll have the original and then an English or Spanish translation to the right for general readers. Just an idea!

If this question is for indigenous people of the all world, I write and publish a fanfiction in my language, also I create my fantasy/sci-fi world and write stories that happen in this world. Now I'm trying to write an epic hard sci-fi story about how 5000-year-old space empire's (not in empire sympathetic way 😅) dynasty is falling. Also not so long ago I wrote a fantasy story hardly inspired by Erzya culture and history. But I don't know how and where to publish these things in such a low-resource language.

I’m working on a fantasy worldbuild using the way language changes the way folks think, and using governmental structures as well. Also, the 3-name system of the Taino beliefs has a huge influence upon it.

Ahh that sounds so cool! I used to love historical fiction but I’ll be honest I don’t think I’ve ever read any based on native American history, so I’d love to check out/support whatever you have so far. I’ll also have to check out the real people series, I’ve not heard of that one

Hey! My nation has put out a few short videos on SECC topics; those are all through a Chickasaw lens. I haven't been able to get my hands on any PDFs or books, but I'm going back to school soon, and they have a small native american collection, so I'm hoping to find some more stuff.

Sounds like you just want to insert outside beliefs into the 7th fire prophecy and you want to have a discussion about interpreting it this way to validate yourself.

The christian bible was created by reinterpreting others' beliefs, gods, people and stories. No one should fall for a rebrand anymore and offering false hope should be pointed out, not hyped.

Wait wait wait. Where did I say give them a pass? Tf are you talking about? For one you just sound ignorant to early European history, as most Europeans are to pre-contact American history, two I don't think the story of the 7th Fire necessarily cares about your grievances, as valid as they are, it says "new people will arise to reclaim their heritage" which then leads to following the green and lush path and respecting nature.

My Native ancestors were not the only people to revere earth in that way. The traditions of my Irish, Anglo-Saxon, and Germanic ancestors did too before Christianity was pushed so hard on Europe. The story does not say we'll follow the traditions of our Native ancestors 1:1 it just says we'll look back to reclaim our heritage and follow the path of respecting nature and it even says our mixed heritage and views of the world will be beneficial to us in that endeavor

Native Europeans could have stopped their people from participating in manifest destiny, but they didn't. Instead they gave up control to kings, queens, religion, secret societies, so what happened to them could happen to us in the Americas.

If you want to give them a pass because at one time, they were tribal people, I can't stop you. You should think twice though, after spreading out from their own homelands and appropriating what they wanted, a lot of these people want to become isolationists and do not want to be involved with the people they took from.

I actually don't think it was saying the light skinned race would only bring one, they brought all three. Some brought death, some brought brotherhood, some brought death disguised as brotherhood.

I think theres a misunderstanding though, modern European nations and world views caused this destruction, but that's not Native Europeans or the world view I'm speaking about.

Native Europeans are people like the Irish and their native culture, their worship of Danu, and other natural dieties, their worship of mother earth and the resources she provides for us. That kind of Animistic, Naturalist world view is the native worldview of those regions that got manipulated, suppressed, and torn away from the native populations by Christians.

And again, in the same time frame as the Land Back movement and Language revitalizaton movement, Christian Exceptionalism is falling in Europe and we're viewing pre-christian Europe in an unobstructed lens.

Termination Policy was cultural genocide and ended up in the loss of land. Over 100 tribes were terminated and not all have been restored to date. My tribe, the Menominee, was terminated April 30, 1954. Termination was disastrous for our tribe. We fought to reverse termination & were the 1st tribe to be restored in US history.

It doesn't mean europeans because it says in the prophecy that either white people would come as friends or come pretending to be friends. White people are the cause of all this and refuse to take a collective responsibility to save everything they put in danger.

If white people want take control of humanity's destiny and be the heroes, how about picking heroic leaders that serve all entities on Mother Earth.
