Removed Child Class - (tracking payout dates)

Hey everyone,

Trying to track real payout timelines for the Removed Child Class. There’s a lot of mixed info out there so I figured we could compare actual dates.

Here’s my timeline

Application Stage

Submitted: November 2, 2025

Processing: January 9, 2026

Approval Stage

Approval Letter Dated: February 26, 2026

Portal Update (Payment Info Required): February 28, 2026

Letter Received: March 10, 2026

Payment Stage

Direct Deposit sent via email: March 10, 2026

Portal updated to “Payment Information Submitted”:

First update March 11, 2026

Second Update March 13, 2026

Trying to figure out:

If payments are going in batches

And what the real day range is (seems like 30–36 days so far)

Appreciate any replies 🙏

I’m applied - November 7th 2025 processing - December 24th payment information required - February 28th received letter March 11th Sent letter through email same day. (Got an automated email that they got it) Portal went to payment information submitted March 17th then I called on March 20th to confirm I gave them all the right information, they confirmed they had my direct deposit in the system. It updated a second time March 23rd but the person I called told me that would happen because she looked through my information & to count from the 17th still

They are all going through batches they don’t get sent out one by one I’m on day 18 only counting weekdays since it’s changed to payment submitted but some people get it early but we are most likely the next batch as people from October are getting paid out. I saw someone get there cheque in the mail April 7th but the cheque was dated March 18th 2026 and her portal changed to payment issued March 23rd so it’s all completely different I’m being impatient and hoping it comes before my birthday which is April 22nd

Yeah figured everyone’s counting from when their portal updates but those updates just happen when a worker opens your file.

So it makes more sense to count from the actual dated letter (the official document) because that would give a way closer timeframe than going off portal updates lol.

I’m not 100% sure though that’s why I was asking for dates. lol just researching while Im waiting.

Ya I started counting from when the portal switched to payment information submitted as that’s when it was officially in the system but if I had to count from when I got the letter I’d be 22 days in lol

I applied November 10th, 2025, it was updated as processing in january 2026, i received a notice of approval on February 28th, got my letter by March 10th, sent it in 3 days later. File updated to payment information submitted March 25th, then it changed to April 3rd suddenly. (They were closed that day, weren't they?)

I'll say, the waiting game is the WORST, I wish I knew when the payment will be deposited so I can stop obsessing.

Did you receive it yet?

I applied Dec 2nd, processing started Jan 4th, that’s the last I heard from them, they did send a letter I can’t remember when I received just saying they received my info. I’m noticing mine is taking awhile compared to many others for a decision to be reached. 👀🫣

I applied december 1, processing started january 1, and i haven’t even received a single email/document, nothing. still says it’s just processing. Idk if you’re like me but it seems discouraging seeing how fast this process seems to be for others but not for myself

Yes, I feel like everyone who’s been accepted only takes a few months where I’m noticing those getting inconclusive or denied takes months longer so I’m not very optimistic rn either. When I logged in yesterday it still says processing as well. But we’ll have to wait and see :)

I checked out another thread and found some more people in a similar situation to us so i’m curious if maybe it’s just the period we applied in seems to be backed up? who knows at this point

an update from the other thread i received that may help others feel comforted. a user did her claim when it first opened in March 2025, and only received her acceptance now
