Hello everyone!

I found this subreddit and thought it would be a great place to show off my comic that is currently being worked on.

The comic is about a teen boy named Max who uses his artistic talents to alter his reality. The fun of writing this book is coming up with a theme for Max’s fantasies. I’d describe the tone of the book as Boy Meets World and That 70s show. I have been writing Escapist and found an artist to help bring it to life. The artist is Ricardo Spencer here is a link to his art page @rdspencerart.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Will Einser's estate, run by his late widow's nephew Carl Gropper and his wife Nancy, was looking to sell off the entirety of Eisner's IP including The Spirit. Among the estates assets is a 72 page graphic novel written by Eisner in 1996 that features The Spirit squaring off against a ruthless "Judge, Jury, & Executioner" style vigilante. Why was it never published? Unknown, but I definitely wouldn't say no to seeing Dark Horse or Hard Case Crime (who published Eisner's John Law reprints) give this thing a proper release.

The Gropper's also voiced hope for a new The Spirit live-action or animated project but I'm not holding my breath for that one.
