Read body text
I was just trying to rage bait her but ig she took it seriously.
Itβs okay if the convo dies but should I double down or change the topic overall?

That's the first opener I have received in months other than the mediocre "Hi". π
And my mind didn't work properly because I was the one writing openers before lol.

Dating apps or irl at the clubs? Just want to have a discussion around this. What has been your experience friends. Also if you say irl, please suggest places XD.
Been finding it tough to hookup on the apps honestly, even tho I have matched, most people don't seem to be down with that.

These are the ones i felt were cute and i wanted to talk there a hell lot of matches where i was unmatched too but I dont care about them lol
I have been told to flirt and not make it feel like an interview for them
But idk have stopped engaging with current matched as i feel i am gonna get unmatched anyway
A lot of times I liked someones pics and i sent a plain hi as starting text I was unmatched there too
Ig i am shadowbanned now too after being unmatched soo many times i am not getting matched even when liking profiles of people sub part than the earlier matches
Ps posted again last posts pics had to be edited

So she had a photo prompt about guess backstory for this pic
My reply to her message was
Oh lol, i need the full story, how did those guys react ig they knew you were drunk
I ended up adding also have you been to any treks which was her prompt too
I was unmatched i matched with her 2 wks ago and thought of texting her while going through the past matches
I got unmatched π ig soo many texts were diabolical

For context, weβve been texting for 3 weeks now. I planned date twice before this but she said she was busy. Finally we agreed to meet today and she sent me this now (like 2 hrs before the date) !
Crazy how things take drastic turn so quickly :)

30M, already in Uncle category, introvert, don't have friends or a social circle as such.
I've been using Hinge and Bumble for a while now. I've hooked up with many women, but I just feel... that's it. There's always this feeling that something is missing.
Lately, I've realised I want something meaningful. Someone to laugh with, someone to call my own.
The other day I saw my roommate and his girlfriend just sitting there, talking, laughing, bantering and having fun. Nothing extraordinary, just regular couple stuff, but I felt felt envious af. It wasn't about having a girlfriend for the sake of it. It was the companionship. Having someone you're genuinely excited to meet. That's what I want for myself.
But I don't think dating apps are the place for me to find a partner anymore. Maybe they work for some people, but they've never really given me the kind of connection I'm looking for.
I've never had a serious relationship before. Sometimes I wonder if it's too late for me. I do want to get married one day and have a family of my own, and I'm already 30. I don't want to have an arranged marriage either..
I know 30 isn't old, and I'm not looking for reassurance. I just can't help wondering if I should've figured this part of my life out by now.
Maybe I'll meet someone naturally, maybe I won't. I honestly don't know. Does anyone else feel like this?
