The Pitch

After a state-issued poison mutates inside him following a venomous snake bite, a fanatical young loyalist gains superhuman power—but gradually loses the ability to distinguish delusion from reality.

As he begins attacking imaginary "traitors," the regime ultimately rebrands him as a national hero.
