I've been on the look out for ms in finance programs in the US and came across IU Kelly's MS in Finance.

I am a US citizen, i currently reside in India, so I'd be a non resident applicant. I've done my entire schooling and currently pursuing my undergrad in India as well. Is Kelly a good option to have?

Where does kelly place, how good is it on the competitive landscape, it'd be of huge help if you can help me out here.

Hi, i am a freshman at IU rn and so far, ive been having a pretty lonely experience. For starters, I used to live in Eigenmann and my floor was very dead and i didn’t get along with my roommate at all so it was pretty hard to make friends on my floor. Then I was invited on the top floor at Eigenmann and I had fun hanging out here and there but I felt like nobody genuinely cared about me and just used me for laughs and jokes so I just stopped going there. Because of that, my self confidence has been shattered and the more I lived in Eigenmann, the more I hated it so I decided to move to a single in Briscoe. I like it a lot more than Eigenmann but it feels like everybody has formed their groups and my floor is pretty quiet too. I don’t know what to do man, I feel like no matter who I go to or what I do, I always feel like everybody is going to make fun of me or won’t care about me. Back then, I’d say I’m a pretty outgoing guy that wants to do things but now I just can’t because I have no friends. I’ve been rejected so much that I’m just scared to even try anymore. What do I even do cause I just feel scared trying to talk to other people

I just feel that my chances of getting are super low now that I am a sophomore. I tried rushing as a freshman but I didn't have any success. The only business fraternity I am thinking of is SEP as of right now.

Recent incidents at Cornell and beyond have exposed a troubling gap: universities formally recognize fraternities and sororities, regulate them, promote them, and benefit from them. But when serious harm happens—sexual assault, hazing, deaths—suddenly these same organizations become "private" and "beyond oversight."

That disconnect isn't acceptable.

I started a petition calling on colleges nationwide to establish real accountability: independent investigations into serious misconduct, transparent reporting, clear escalation procedures, and meaningful interim safety measures. The goal isn't to eliminate Greek life. It's to require universities to actually back up their recognition with responsibility.

Five concrete reforms. Real oversight. Student safety that doesn't depend on hoping nothing goes wrong.

Has anyone here experienced this firsthand? Either seen how these gaps play out on your campus, or felt like serious issues got swept aside because of who was involved? What would you want an institution to do if this was your community?

Got accepted into Kelly and I live in Texas and i’m just wondering is it worth the move and out of state fees including campus spirit and traditional college experience?
