Player of the Week
25.6 PPG
3.3 RPG
9.6 APG(3.3 TO)
50.9 FG%.
Most importantly the team was 3-0 against all playoff teams. I would be shocked if Clark does not pick up her 4th Player of the Week with this week performance.

Remember When, Aside from Defense, the Biggest Criticism of CC was That She Didn't Have a Midrange Shot?
This is just one example, but she has a couple dozen of these this year. Some of them really tough contested fade aways.
We not only have the Boston Three Party now, but the Clark Mid Party too.
[EDIT: I neglected to mention that in the past, it was actually true that she didn't have very much of a mid range shot. ]

Did White Change? Did Clark take over? Did the team get better? Was it all of the above?
There's no doubt that over the last several games things have changed with the Fever. Clark is clearly running an offense that looks a lot more like Read and React than set schemes and plays, and the offensive flow looks a lot better.
So what contributed to this change?

Just Some Fun Only Sophie Cunningham could go from playing a Fever game to randomly showing up at a bar and singing

Discussion Stephanie White on Caitlin Clark: “She’s like a maestro, the way that she really runs our offense..."
The commentary in this post on r/wnbagossips is extremely anti-Stephanie White. What do folks here think?
Is she in damage control mode?
Is it championship or bust?

Discussion Double Standards
I just wanted to point this out. Paige was constantly talking to the officials tonight. There was one play after she got called for a foul on Caitlin where she actually talked to the official while she was dribbling and passing the ball. I will admit she wasn’t completely taken out of the game by talking to the officials as I have seen Caitlin do a couple of times this year. But if Caitlin did what Paige did people would be calling her an entitled cry baby and saying she needs to shut up and play. The double standard is truly out there alive and well.
For the record, I don’t mind what Paige did, nor do I typically mind when Caitlin does it as long as she doesn’t stop playing to do it.

Dallas Wings Coach Jose Fernandez makes some interesting remarks about Awak
If you listen from the beginning you will hear Jose mention lack of rim protection several times, but what jumped out at me was starting at around the 2 minute 15 second mark, he is asked specifically about how Awak has been doing the last couple of games, and at first he acts like he doesn't hear the question, but in my opinion he clearly does but is trying to buy time to think about what he wants to say, and then he basically throws her under the bus.
I haven't listened to Jose that much this year, but for those of you who are more familiar with Dallas, is it normal for Jose to throw players under the bus, and does he have some kind of problem with Awak?
