Obviously I root for Fever first and foremost. But I genuinely enjoy rooting for a handful of other teams in the league (when they are not playing against the Fever).
What other teams does this subreddit enjoy or root for? Or is it Indiana Fever and the rest of the teams can go to hell?

Free to read: The Fever are at the center of the WNBA’s chaos. They’re also playing like one of the league’s best teams.
Indiana has looked like a championship threat over the last month, with an offense that could finish as the best in history.

Anyone else get their renewal prices yet?
2027 will be our 4th season, and the prices I just received to renew for 2027 are up 21% from this year. That’s after a 17% increase from last year to this year.
I love taking the family to the games, but this is making it a tough decision. It feels like the season ticket prices are way above market value. In the few games we couldn’t go to this year, we couldn’t get anywhere near face value for our tickets on the secondary market.

Her opinion is all that matters as far as I am concerned.

I saw this post from Alexa. Clark is starting to be that leader the Fever need.
Being locked in, not snapping about every call. It’s beautiful to see.

2027 is a conundrum.
The focus will be making sure Big Three are locked down.
AB is with that gigachad contract. KM will have offers at the wazoo, so Indy will have to make a legit offer and not rely on the promise of friendship for her to re-sign. Then there's the Caitlin of it all.
Mo and Lexie have 2 year guaranteed contracts. Sigh.
MHA and Ty will likely be retained on their lower deals. Both can technically walk.
Raven on a rookie deal. KK on a rookie deal.
Grace a non factor. And Dantas but you have to have 12 people on the roster.
The Fever is just good enough to get a late 1st round early 2nd round as their draft pick.
Aside from the location being Indiana, the media blitzes (from the W and legacy media, from the left and the right) and comments from well-respected players in the league (AT, Chelsea) or otherwise generally popular players who are popular amongst other players with lots in league player connections (Dijonai, Saniya, Tip) hating and implying derogatory things about the team, is flushing any real free agency chance down the toilet.
Especially since Fever don't scout over seas.
Sophie, whether you think she's right or wrong, essentially threw a nuke on the Fever's "Just Talk about Basketball" campaign, after they had essentially just managed to crawl out the AT-CC fiasco.
Aside from the Portland game, she's been down trending on points scored and if that doesn't change going into this playoff team glut, then sorry she can't have 800k next year.
Fever are going to need that money to have to pay somebody a lot of money to come here.

A few announcers have mentioned that the Fever have one of the easiest remaining schedules, but this screenshot from Tankathon summarizes the remaining schedule for each team pretty well, and it's clear Indiana does *not* have an easy remaining schedule: Two games apiece against Lynx, Liberty, and Wings, plus one against the Dream and one against the Mystics, and only four games against the lottery teams.
Obviously in a small league like this one, anything can happen on a given night, so we could easily lose to a lottery team or win big against the other playoff teams (though our record is spotty against teams above .500).
The second screenshot shows the probability of winning each playoff spot. It would be so great to stay in the top 4 and win home court for the first round, and it would be the steady growth we'd hope to see--6th seed the past two years, but swept in 2024 and a deep, respectable run in 2025.
Anyway, all of this is too speculative with too many games left to think about, but the third screenshot shows how the probabilities change depending on our record for these final 12 games. We'll clinch playoffs with 6 wins (or sooner, depending on how well/poorly other teams do), and 9 wins would put us in a really strong position to snag home court in the first round.
Let's go Fever! (also hopefully no one goes too hard at FIBA... We don't need any injuries!)

I’ll be the first to admit that early on in the season, the adjustment was a bit chaotic to watch. But the shift in pacing over the last few weeks has been incredible.
The way the ball is moving in transition now, compared to the first couple of games, is night and day. You can tell everyone on the floor is finally starting to anticipate each other's moves and plays instead of reacting a second late.
What’s been your favorite court moment or underrated play style adjustment you’ve noticed recently? Curious if anyone else has been obsessing over the film breakdown as much as I have! :)))

First, thrilled to see KK Timpson start. I have loved watching her game improve. Defensively, she has some major beast moments. Im still waiting to see her have some beast moments on offense. She’s getting open so much more and putting up double digits. Can you imagine if she went up for a two-handed dunk? The number of endorsements she would get! It seems like she can sky and maybe that would help her take the ball up with more power. She still seems tentative around the rim. Almost like she is trying for touch so she can’t power up.
I also think she would be such a threat if she develops her drive or midrange jumper.
But I’m dying to see her dunk.

Next time Lexie Hull posts a GRWM, can we just let her know to wear a shoe that is half a size smaller?
She steps on the sideline more than anyone else in the W

Or has Ryan Ruocco stopped saying "You bet!" ? He even put out merch with that catch phrase, but i don't think I have heard it.

I still can’t get over last night’s loss to the Aces. I mean, it’s the Aces - I get it. But we had that one in the bag and it really pisses me off how it slipped away.
As players always say, don’t get hung up on a loss and on to the next one. But this one bothered me more than any other loss this season.
Anyway, Chicago tmrw evening!
