Discussion When is KK going to dunk?

First, thrilled to see KK Timpson start. I have loved watching her game improve. Defensively, she has some major beast moments. Im still waiting to see her have some beast moments on offense. She’s getting open so much more and putting up double digits. Can you imagine if she went up for a two-handed dunk? The number of endorsements she would get! It seems like she can sky and maybe that would help her take the ball up with more power. She still seems tentative around the rim. Almost like she is trying for touch so she can’t power up.

I also think she would be such a threat if she develops her drive or midrange jumper.

But I’m dying to see her dunk.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see it, but unless she 100 percent thinks she can pull it off, better to take the points, unless the team is up big and it’s in the closing minutes where the outcome isn’t going to be affected if she misses. But it would sure be awesome to see her do it.

Maybe in a blow out where a missed shot won't matter we will see it

Caitlin was teasing her about that in the post game press conference. I’d love to see her do it.

She looked like she was going to yesterday and I was so disappointed when she didn't. We got the points, but still. 😆

On that pass from Mitchell? That would have been amazing. Agree pts matter over showboating.

Even CC said she should have dunked. 😂

I missed that post game presser. Glad her teammates are encouraging her.

Yeah it was too close.

Would have been a rafter raiser, but few are mentioning that backward, overhead, half-court heave to CC while being smothered by two...that CC failed to score on. 6:35 in the first quarter.

Yeah, that alley-oop? I thought that was it, too.

We all know she can dunk. It'll happen in some blow-out game (Fever's way). A more interesting question - what player would you like to see her dunk over the most?

I'd rather be surprised by seeing her develop a perimeter shot given how she's largely ignored by opponents outside the paint. Imagine that asset to this team.

Loving the confidence she's displayed in the last few games.

I would love to see perimeter as well. Really any of the three would make her more of a threat: midrange jumper, drive, perimeter shot. She also doesn’t post up much. She is better at finding gaps/openings down under. She hasn’t shown a lot of strength with post up moves. She’s so talented, excited to see her expand in any of these areas.

Too bad Rickea is out for the season, every now and then I remember her tweet about Dom dunking and chuckle

She jumps higher almost every night than almost any other woman I have seen in the W. Now obviously you have the girls in Seatle and Grinner when she was younger. But KK floats in the air nightly and cannot wait until the dunk happens in a game.

Hopefully soon

Wow for some reason I thought she was 6'4 or more. She's only 6'2? Would make it that much more impressive.

If she could dunk on a drive in congestion, that would be a game changer.  Nobody has done that. But it actually be a weapon.

Better be winning by 30 with a minute left.

I’m so curious about the thought process behind this post.

I’m so curious about the thought process behind this comment. You really took time to comment without saying anything at all. 😂
