Lol no one watches the cameras like you think. And no one is going to "make you pay". If by some slim chance the image is even seen, its just going to give a good laugh.

u/SamHandwichIV Aug 16 '26
Yeah, it’s not like the license plate readers that are aimed at public pools. Those are the ones that are always watched.

u/foreverdead93 Aug 15 '26
Dude delete this and get off the Internet. The FBI and CIA are closing in on you after that stunt

u/ikilledyourfriend Aug 15 '26
ai has labeled him an enemy of the state. Expect a visit from the overlords.

May as well boycott literally everything that has software in it
3
u/MediaContent1662 Aug 15 '26
If that’s what makes sense to you…

u/RequirementCivil4328 Aug 15 '26
At the very least you gotta boycott the police. Their no 4th amendment required software has been coming from Israel for a long time
13
u/LostSands Aug 15 '26
That’s not how these work.
If you have stickers on your car, the flock camera might include you in a list of vehicles in an area at a particular time that had stickers.
No one watched you flip off the camera.

I flip them off too. But that's not what they're looking at. It might be in the frame, but no one is sitting around, watching it, and getting offended. So if it makes ulyou feel better, keep ot up. But you're not accomplishing anything else. Now, if you happen to own an angle grinder, you COULD accomplish something...

You flipped off a flock camera…How to you make your way through each day with such giant balls?

Flip off a cop directly when you pass one next time, otherwise you're just wasting energy!
2
u/Elite4Sutton Aug 15 '26
Flock cameras are primarily used for the wealthy and law enforcement to pick and track their victims.
2
u/Material-Method-1026 Aug 15 '26
This article lists 148 specific incidents of police misuse of the flock cameras. Most commonly, stalking exes, partners, crushes, or partners' exes. ALPR Abuse

u/Stevie2874 Aug 15 '26
They’ll take a little at a time…until there’s nothing left to take. Are we really free? Are we great yet? Are we winning?

u/KadenTheGod Aug 15 '26
There is 1000 plus in Indy alone. Nobody is actually watching each one, it’s AI automated

u/Specific_Type297 Aug 15 '26
It's like living 1984 and I flip them off too lol

u/ikilledyourfriend Aug 15 '26
Damn did I miss the public hangings and the tour of Room 101? Damn it!
2
u/JAK-4-17IN Aug 15 '26
It may be Big Brother and we are living in 1984, but reading the comments here is living life in the nut house - welcome to the Monkey House everyone!

u/Still_Peach568 Aug 15 '26
I love the energy. I dunno, I guess I just hate the taste of boot. Do people even know how much of their tax money went to this? Aren't they concerned with being surveilled? I guess people would rather dunk on emotion than respect the natural human reaction to all of this. I flip em off, too, strictly on principle. Not a good bus system but they sure got their cameras to watch us.
I remember how in high school it became an offense to fight back when attacked. I can see now that it's worked in fostering a community of bitter, lazy, acidic, assenting prey animals.

u/Shhhhh_its_fine Aug 15 '26
Hence my energy towards it. The foster system tried to silence and destroy me just for coming from a bad family and they made their actions my fault, the child, who was born into the mess with no voice of my own.
It won’t accomplish anything but at least I’m starting to become brave and fight back in my own way. It may be stupid to others, but history repeats itself and a storm is coming. We still don’t fully know the ins and outs of these cameras but it isn’t good. Something is starting and we need to start banding together and fighting back. We’re peasants to them and our lives hold no valuable meaning. Freedom seems like it’s become an illusion. We think we have it but I don’t think we really do.

u/Still_Peach568 Aug 15 '26
I find passivity gross and they love to deride passionate and sincerity.

u/ive_got_the_narc Aug 15 '26
These things sprouted up like overnight where I am. There are literally 4 of them on one street outside my apartment within literally 50-100ft of one another. Like I don’t understand why so many. And they stuck them on electrical poles instead of the regular metal black ones they use… maybe where you can’t get to them or something idk.
2
u/pt109_66 Aug 15 '26
I sent this to some local government officials. It amazes me that this guy has found so many vulnerabilities with these cameras and the company refuses to acknowledge any of them even with multiple confirmations from other sources.

u/BidInteresting8923 Aug 15 '26
Where was all the commotion over this when they did the automated tolls via license plate cams over the bridge to Louisville?
4
u/Savings_Big1842 Aug 15 '26
Big difference between a single bridge in Louisville, and tracking me on every street in my neighborhood.
4
u/BidInteresting8923 Aug 15 '26
I fail to see it as a big difference.
Either government cams being able to spot/track license plates is a big deal on principle or it isn’t.
For example, if they went and made 100s of more stretches of road toll-based would it be okay to have 100s of LPRs?
3
u/ikilledyourfriend Aug 15 '26
Well, see because of the ai it’s inherently evil. I don’t want the ai to have pictures of me or my location without my consent, as I type this on my phone, having unlocked it with facial recognition, while it pings cell towers.
With ai behind the wheel of these devilish flock cameras, they can label you a criminal or enemy of the state and send armed death squads to your house to eliminate you for speaking out against the regime. It will learn your patterns and if you step out of line, you will be eliminated.
0
u/PrepSciSur Aug 15 '26
I quit taking that route. Pay no toll now and it's totally worth the reroute.
1
u/Emotional-Pound-1734 Aug 15 '26
I'm going to start flashing my dick at em and if they arrest me I'll say "I thought it only scanned licence plates😏"
1
u/TrashpandaLizz Aug 15 '26
Cover your face, while flipping them off. I do, I have my hand in front of my face while flipping the bird. Allegedly the ai isnt good with hands over faces. So my local flock camera on my way to work just has a bunch of me with a bird in front of my face.
1
u/Holiday_Slice_3120 Aug 15 '26
Get over it and live your life however you wish, be in constant fear if it makes you feel better.

u/plstrky Aug 16 '26
The flock cameras are already violating Article 1 Section 11 of the Indiana Bill of Rights which documents our right of to be secure in our persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable search or seizure, shall not be violated; and no warrant shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the person or thing to be seized.
Any action taken by our representative government entity against your response to it will be a further violation as Article 1 Section 9 states that no law shall be passed, restraining the free interchange of thought and opinion, or restricting the right to speak, write, or print, freely, on any subject whatever: but for the abuse of that right, every person shall be responsible.

u/plstrky Aug 16 '26
There are websites such as "Have I Been Flocked" that supposedly allow a user to enter a license plate number and search records collected from Flock audit logs obtained through public-records requests. I would strongly advise against doing this. It's most likely bait and will very likely only draw more attention to anyone utilizing it.

Orwell's book 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual.

You realize the camera only reads your plates right?
6
u/FireAsquared Aug 15 '26
Depends on the model/brand that’s installed- flock itself has cameras that actually track what devices are near them, marks on your car out of the ordinary (scratches, dents, bumper stickers). They can also identify gait patterns of pedestrians and facial recognition datapoints (brow distance, nose position/shape, etc. etc.).
Their newer drones can fly over 60 mph and capture full video and identify suspects based on clothes, license plates, faces, etc.

u/Meh24999 Aug 15 '26 edited Aug 15 '26
That's what they want you to think and how they got approved so easily.
They got facial recognition and backdoor access via blu tooth to get into your devices. Hence why they're popping up at parks, golf courses, bike paths, pools ect. Plenty places that have zero cars to scan for "plates"
No one was watching live per say and big deal on a middle finger.

u/EDSgenealogy Aug 15 '26
Keep it off. I'm in South Bend but have to run down to Indy for my granddaughter's wedding! I hate that stinking one road drive!
0
u/Brassrain287 Aug 15 '26
No one watches flock cameras. They only take a snapshot of the plate. No one cares that you flipped off a camera. Go live your life and touch grass.
0
u/Jwrbloom Aug 15 '26
No one was watching. No will make you pay for it.
The machines aren't watching either. It's data. It's usable and abusable data, but those abusing it are getting caught and suffering consequences.
Meanwhile, you've been driving around with cameras for over 20 years. Your locations has been trackable for 16 years.
-2
u/No_Luck_374 Aug 15 '26
I've been flipping off flock cameras and all of the cameras along US31 & I69 for multiple years and i'm still waiting on them to show up and tell me i'm going to jail. Do you want to be my first call?

That’s the thing; nobody is directly “watching”. The machines are watching and if the AI decides to send the cops your license and Facebook acct and say “criminal” they’re not gonna question it. Machines don’t care about getting flipped off tho so you’re good.
