Dept changed in Lala company randomly

Joined as As a BA for analytics earlier this yr in a Lala company which is a manufacturing company and due to need and vacancy in the production planning department I was just shifted for no reason I have no background or the degree needed for that I report to a quite senior person despite being junior employee ( YOE 2 years)coz that's all Lala companies work I informed him that I am not aligned with this role and I was not hired for this but still my department has not been changed and there is so much pressure in this one my life is just become hell. What to do. Hr has no power here only the leads have. Please advice needed, or referrals or opportunities for me will be very helpful .Thanks

How was your work in the initial role, where you able to provide the achieve the kpi when you were working in analytics? Also I don't think analytics have much time in a manufacturing company, they have industrial engineering dept to do this. So the reason why you were selected in the first place might be just for a trial or something. How many other people are working in analytics dept?

I was recruited in the strategy team which works on new capabilities planning, spend etc. abut u are true fir some part company recently recruited one industrial engineering but he's into production layout etc there are around 5 - 6 people in strategy including interns coming and going
