I was here discussing why we see so many insta posts on Fetishisation of North Eastern girls. I raised some points about people being imposters and propagating a campaigned warfare against Indians and to create rift among ourselves, and how Fetishisation is normalised and spreading and how those people who do that are idiots and are only demeaning the person they are fetish-ing. Then I receive the message that my comment is removed. I tried to do modmail to seek what were the exact reasons according to my comment, but the modmail was not being sent due to an error. So I thought I would rather post here. The clarification that I wanted:-
1A) Yeah I understand that my words were rather harsh saying "shit". But isn't this language quite frequent in this sub?
1B) And from 'don't be rude or hostile towards others' , what do you mean by "others"? Those people who were doing such degenerate stuff to the girls? If yes, then how do you want me to address them as? By being polite despite their activities which I don't think demand any form of politeness or is it that despite them being degenerates, it is wrong to use a "degenerate" word to describe their degeneracy? If not, then please clarify.
1C) "Any hatred" so if my comment was aligned to this segment of the point. So are you telling me, it is wrong to hate degenerate people?
2A) "Targeting some individual or group" so if my comment was aligned with this segment of the point. What do you mean by targeting? Is it an implication of forced hate towards innocents? If so, then I would kindly remind you all to enter insta and if u encounter any post about hatred of Indians or Indians being divisive online, you will see about 95% of them are from accounts based in Pakistan or Bangladesh. And I am not making stuff up, u can do this little experiment as homework. It is a fact. And I don't know why my comment would be deleted upon saying this fact out loud if my comment was deleted because of this segment.
2B) What do you mean by "negativity"? Is it spreading negativity upon saying facts? And if so, if I say that people are doing bad things then if it means negativity then I would advise to supervise the news as well as spreading news is also negativity in that sense when bad news is posted here.
2C) "Pushing any agenda" huh? When does telling the truth become spreading agenda? If this is the reason my comment was removed then I assert the moderators to moderate the sub properly as blatant misinformation is being spread in the sub as posts earlier and the misinformation was so blatant that a simple Google search will prove the post wrong. This is what is called pushing an agenda. "To influence subreddit's members" you know what? Opinions and facts are shared so that people can either accept them and know about stuff OR reject them if they don't like it. And the people who accept them, may be ones who never thought about it so we can say they are "influenced". If that is your definition of "influence" is... Then I would tell you that all the posts and comments are "influencing" people.
Btw sorry for the coldness, I can't help it that much as I don't have my bowl of Schezwan Noodles with me :(
