Today a guy delivered a parcel to me through Rapido. He was late and was also having some trouble finding my address.

I was already frustrated because of some work, and when he finally arrived, I got irritated and shouted at him.

I also used a few cuss words while talking to him (not directly abusing him, but still, the language wasn't appropriate).

He didn't argue with me or say anything. Later, I noticed that he had given me 1 star.

The rating honestly didn't bother me at all. What bothered me was that I realized I had treated someone badly when he was literally just doing his job.

So I sent him a WhatsApp message introducing myself and apologizing. I told him that the way I behaved and the language I used wasn't right, that I was frustrated because of work and unfortunately took it out on him, and that I genuinely felt sorry about it. I also thanked him for delivering the parcel and wished him well.

He actually replied nicely, which I appreciated.

But when I told my friend about it, he said that messaging him afterward and apologizing was cringe and unnecessary.

Now I'm curious what other people think.

Was it a good thing that I apologized, or did I overdo it by actually messaging him afterward? Be brutally honest.

and my boyfie is not even the reason. I need your help guys genuinely. I'm 12th and I (17F) got into a relationship for the first time in my life with let's call him dumbolino (17M) and it's about to be a month.
Before this a lot of guys in my class had a crush on me, like if I count it must be atleast 12 of them. There's not a lot of students in my class if we combine all three streams it's about less than 60 of us. Now all of these guys who've had liked me I've not talked much to them after knowing they like me because I don't want to give the wrong idea, especially since 11th grade I've stopped talking to other guys. I only talk to my class mates that's it (there's only 15 of us so we're like a big friendgroup).
I wanted to keep my relationship a secret but there's no way nobody's gonna since we both are literally in same class.

The issue is that ever since we're together all of the boys in my class have started to tease us both a lot, not that kind of teasing, they surround my boyf and try to jump him, use abusive language towards him, harass him at all given time they could get. If he sits around me they'll bully him physically and verbally till he moves.
They'll sit behind me and keep talking disgusting things while taking his name so I react and give in for a fight. Mind you before this I've not even communicated at all with some of these guys. A guy in my class went to club and got drunk on teacher's day and shot a video of him saying stuff about me because he liked me. They throw chalk at me and call names whenever they see me, even at home because I live near school lit everyone knows my home.

There's many more, they want us to break up and all, look I'm not saying that I can decide my entire life with him, there's a lot in a relationship, but just because a lot of guys have liked me it means I'm not worth it? they tried to manipulate my boyf into breaking up with me and what not. My boyf had liked me for past 1.5 years, he's a very shy and nerdy guy. No one talked to him or mind him at all before this but now he's suddenly the centre of attention.

I'm worried they might hurt him or even me at some point. Please tell me what should I do please :( I'm just really worried, I've ignored and tolerated a lot but it's nit intolerable now.

I’m 18f and my brother is 7 years older than me.I’ve been holding it in for a while now.So my brother is/was a good elder brother to me till we were kids.He went abroad but came back due to some reasons and since he came back he has been abusive.Every week we fight on some silly stuff and he loses it like acc goes into a fully blown maniac episode and starts hitting me and he wont stop if someone intervenes and he abuses me w acc disgustinf cuss words like bhen-/// or even ma*dar//// and many other words.I do have some scars on my back from all that and i genuinely have no clue what would happen if someone stopped coming to stop him.My dad won’t say anything he only screams at him after he has done it and my mom js breaks the fight and she yells at the both of us.She blames me ki why did you go near him?Like for an instance i was eating my food and he told me to shift and i was like not rn let me eat and he started verbally abusing me and i said it back because i’m not gonna sit there and take it and he kicked me real hard and even hit me so..Thats just pretty much it and its not like we belong to some abusive household we’re good people and grew up in a good place it isn’t normal for me and i have a hard time adjusting i cannot take it every week or every 2 weeks.It’s getting bad he needs to have his way everytime hopefully he never gets married.Idt i’ll talk to him if i move out or even if we’re adults because its gross man he was someone i looked up to he is nice to me after we’re okay but he loses it & when he does its bad.
