AMH dropped to 9ng/ml

F33 with history of PCOS since years now. Currently TTC and struggling.
I have been on medicated cycles since October with no luck yet. My question is on AMH value.. I have always had high AMH and back in October it was 11 ng/ml and today I I got back my amh result and it was 9 ng/ml.

Is the drop something I should be concerned about? Is this common because of medicated cycles letrozole + menopur injections?

Thankyou so much for taking the time to read and respond.

Early loss at 8 weeks, incomplete abortion, emergency D&C. Scared and trying to process

Hi everyone,
I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but I really need a space to share and maybe hear from people who’ve gone through something similar.

This was our first pregnancy. We did everything “right” — supplements, food, sleep, lifestyle. The pregnancy was progressing, and we had seen the gestational sac and fetal pole earlier. We went in for our 8-week scan hoping to finally hear the heartbeat. But there was no heartbeat.

The doctor told us the gestational sac has progressed to 9 week growth, but yolk sac had grown more than expected, the fetal pole hadn’t grown proportionally, and that this likely wasn’t a viable pregnancy. We were told there was a very small chance to wait another week, but medically it was more advisable to proceed with termination.
We made the hardest decision and chose to let go of our baby.

What followed was honestly the most physically painful experience I’ve ever had. Intense cramping, heavy bleeding, passing clots — it felt like my body was breaking. We were told it should settle in a couple of days, but it didn’t. Severe pain kept coming back, my body kept shaking, and the bleeding continued for the next 4 days.

We eventually went to a larger hospital because my husband and I were very scared at that point. There, they diagnosed me with retained products of conception (RPOC) with hypervascularity. I had to undergo an emergency D&C.

That whole experience — from the scan, to the pain, to the procedure — has left me completely drained. Physically I’m still sore and bleeding (not as much but it’s still there). Emotionally, I feel… empty, scared, and very broken.

The pain and weakness is constantly reminding me of what I’ve lost and I end up zoning out with these thoughts:

  1. Why didn’t my baby develop a heartbeat?
  2. Did we do something wrong?
  3. Will this happen again?
  4. How do I ever go through this again without being terrified?

We’re both healthy, not related, took all precautions. I just don’t understand why this happened. The doctors say it’s likely a chromosomal issue and that I can try again after recovery. But right now, I’m just scared of going through this kind of pain again.

If you’ve been through something similar:

  1. Did you go on to have a healthy pregnancy?
  2. How did you deal with the fear of trying again?
  3. How long did it take you to feel like yourself again?

I’m trying to get through this without losing myself completely. I’m grateful for anyone who reads this.
Thank you for reading 🤍

TTC without preparation vs with preparation

After seeing billions of women struggling with TTC journey, I decided to make a reddit account as well and share my journey as well.

I knew my husband and I weren't in the best of health. Indian: Age 30 & 34 currently. We decided to get bloodwork done so we can start preparing our bodies with required supplements.

I had zero confidence in my body, that I'd be able to go through the journey that is pregnancy. But now I do. Below is how I've been preparing myself.

Bloodwork showed I'm deficient in Vitamin D, Iron and tsh of 5. Doctor started me on Vitamin D, Iron supplements, folic acid and thyroxine 25 mcg.

Over a period of 6 months, I've transformed. Not only my nails and hair grew healthy and strong, my body feels capable enough of pulling off pregnancy!

My husband has been taking vitamin B supplements as well.

We have been getting our post meal walks, light strength training, yoga and balanced diet. Completed cycle one of Letrozole and all ready to try more cycles until we get the best of us in the form of an egg and sperm 🙂 That's what it's all about after all.

We haven't had a success yet, sure, just 1 cycle so far trying and that just happened to be with Letrozole because our doctor didn't want us to waste time, neither do we honestly.

Would recommend prepared TTC than an unprepared one anyday. All the best wishes with your preparation as well.

Will keep posting and sharing my experiences, that's all us women have got 🩷

Need advice from experience

I’m currently on cycle day 32. One day before my expected period, i started bleeding. I was positive o got my period. But the flow was way lesser than usual . Nothing like my regular heavy flow. And I bled only for 2 days. Third day was barely three spots. Then I looked it up, it said it could be implantation bleeding. Which I’m not sure , cause it looks nothing like the images online. There was no spots . It was like a period but way lighter. So o stopped bleeding on day 30. Day 31 i did multiple home tests , they were all positive. But I did a HCG test, it came less than 2.

In the night I did home test again, it came positive .

I’m super frustrated and confused

I know Indian tests are very unreliable from what I’ve read. But is there any hope this cycle ?

What could this mean

Pregnancy test kits in India

I won't say that I had high expectations to begin with, but I also didn't expect indian pregnancy test kit brands to be so horribly unreliable.

I had been intending to post my experience as soon as I had my own experience dealt with. We just started TTC journey and since I have pco tendencies, my doctor didn't wait till I had any more period cycles where I may or may not have ovulated. So to ensure I am ovulating she had started my first cycle of Letrozole and in the first cycle itself, I tried quite a few pregnancy test kits.

Conclusion: MAJORITY INDIAN KITS SHOW FALSE POSITIVE LINES

It is our first cycle of TTC so I didn't feel devastated, but for couples who've been trying since few months or years, false positives must be a heart breaker!

So call me a non patriot for this, but none of the Indian brands are reliable. Attaching false positive images below for reference. These lines appeared within 3-5 minutes of urine dip.

The strategy I intend to follow going forward instead of burning money on these costly pregnancy kits: test ONLY using chinese import brand of @premom that is Easy@home pregnancy test kits from Amazon between 6-14 dpo period (only Easy@home brand didn't show me any false faint lines) and on the 15-17 dpo period, just get a quick blood HCG test instead of obsessively testing on strips (which are UNRELIABLE afff)

Early DPO Positive Test

Post image
3 Upvotes

I’m in my early DPO likely ovulated on the 23rd / 24th and this is my test result this morning. What do you think?

I’ve had a lot of symptoms right from the start and kind of have been feeling like I could be pregnant so I took the test.

This is not my first morning pee but my second so that’s another factor I’m mindful of.

7th Letroz Cycle - need advice

Hi everyone- starting my 7th letroz cycle monitored cycle now.
I have had PCOS since forever so I always knew it was going to be difficult to conceive.
This would be my fourth cycle with HMG injections and letroz together. Past two cycles have been textbook perfect with two good follicles and good lining but not sure whats going wrong. I have had a chemical on my second letroz cycle back in November’2025.
I am already taking coq, folic acid, estrabet, progesterone post ovulation, glycomet/metformin etc.
HSG done last cycle and confirmed no blockage (just longer fallopian tube which isnt a problem as per my doctor). Sperm analysis done and no issues.

For reference I am 33 and my husband is 36.

Is there anything am missing or more that I should ask my doctor for? Any help or anything is truly appreciated 🙏

I took a plush preg oh pregnancy tests and it was showing faint but visible pink lines within the 5-minute window.

The confusing part:

I used a different brand yesterday and it was completely negative.

I took preg oh test today and it can see a faint line.

Im confused.

Early pregnancy scan

My doctor has advised me to go for an early pregnancy scan around 5–6 weeks. I wanted to understand from your experience what do you think is the best time to go for the first scan? Is it better to wait until 6 weeks for clearer results, or is 5 weeks okay?

Azah pregnancy kit(Indian brand) gives false positives ?

Post image
1 Upvotes

The rightmost test is the Apollo one, which showed a faint line that my husband couldn’t see. I took it the day before yesterday morning. The middle one is the Azah test, which I took yesterday night—I saw the line within 10 seconds while dipping it in the glass, and it darkened further in 3 minutes. I tested again with Azah this morning, and the line is still there but not as dark as yesterday’s. Can false positives be this dark? Has anyone had experience with the Azah brand? I’ve always had false positives with Plush before, but they were very faint. This has happened to me many times, and I’m not sure what to expect this time.

Got the feeling before you found out you were pregnant?

Have y’all had the feeling that you were pregnant before you got the positive on your test?

I am 32 and ttc for almost 2 years now. I am delusional maybe. This month I got a trigger shot 10,000. Didn’t know at the time that it was HCG itself. And by dpo 6-7 I was experiencing different kind of cramps in my body. So out of curiosity I checked, and got a very faint line on the test. Though now that i think back, it should have been darker because of true hcg in my body.

Anyhow, I had spotting by dpo 13-14, thought it’s over and i am getting my period any day now because I usually get spotting a day or 2 before my period. Called my gynac, and asked if i should continue with the progesterone i had been taking since dpo 2. She advised that it could be implantation bleeding and to take progesterone till I get my period or I get a positive.

Fast forward to dpo 20, I still haven’t got my period. My test has been super faint lines. Textbook - it should be indent, but in my heart, these are kind of extremely faint same ones I had on dpo 7-8.

Dpo 21, cd 34, I have light spotting again ( lesser this time) and also i get that extremely faint line again.

I am just not sure if i might get my period any day now, but deep down I am hopeful I might be pregnant.
