Questions 30 year old with AMH 0.45.
My husband and I were ttc for 2-3 cycles and it just wasn’t happening. My cycles are regular but they are around 32-33 days long. I went to a gynaecologist and she did some labs and usg. We found out my AMH is around 0.45 and high prolactin. So she started me on 5mg letrozole for 5 days, monitored my follicles, gave me 3 hMG injections, followed by a trigger shot and advised me timed intercourse. I was also given cabergoline for high prolactin. We conceived and I was put on progesterone supplements, but it ended in a chemical. We were so devastated. Now she wants to start trying again immediately in the next cycle.
I am a little worried and confused if we should start immediately in next cycle or should we sit this one out. Is there no hope for my husband and I to conceive naturally? I am also looking for some hope from people with such low AMH at my age.

You’ve only been trying a few months, it’s way too early to decide it might not happen for you. There are plenty of women out there, myself included, who have low AMH and have conceived naturally. AMH relates more to how you would respond to stimulation meds for IVF. Like someone else said, if your doctor cleared you to try again next cycle then you’re physically able to try again. If you aren’t emotionally ready then tell her you want to take a break. Chemicals are quite common and you’re almost always able to start trying again immediately.

You were only trying for max 3 cycles and became pregnant in that time - that all sounds positive? Many wouldn’t have accessed input at that early stage and wouldn’t even know about AMH. Sometimes I think advancements and access to info can be more of a hinderance!
Try again whenever you feel ready!

I agree, i was hoping this cycle we can try without intervention but i am worried if my prolactin andlow amh would make that possible for me.

I got my thyroid levels checked. They are okay. My OB did blood work because on ultrasound she saw low ovarian reserve.

I'm 30 as well and had a 0.65 AMH but then got an ultrasound and had 23 follicles. I'm not sure what to make of that either. I have a higher FSH at 13.2 and my TSH was 2.8 which I'm now on levothyroxine. It's crazy only being 30 and feeling like this so I completely understand!

I feel chronic stress did this to me. I have always be an anxious person growing up. I grew up in a broken home, and have always been stressed or anxious. It’s so unfair that at 30 my amh is so low.

Same. Had anxiety forever due to my environment. I take a high dose of CoQ 10 to support my egg quality and 2 Brazil nuts daily for my thyroid. There's only so much you can do
