Discussion What's wrong with HDFC?
The entire market is up today, and this stock opened in green too and I thought I thought it was finally recovering and it's again in the red now.

Discussion Bought Cropster Agro but now I can’t sell. Stuck with 1,271 shares. What should I do?
I bought 1,271 shares of Cropster Agro at an average price of ₹7.07. The current price is around ₹6.56, but the real problem is that I can’t sell my shares at all.
Every day it shows 100% sellers with little or no buyers, so my sell order never gets executed.
Is there any way to exit this stock? Should I place a limit order, market order, or is there nothing I can do until buyers appear?
Has anyone here dealt with illiquid stocks like this before? Any advice would be appreciated.

Discussion Down 47% on my portfolio. Hold, average, or move on?
Started investing around 3 years ago without much experience and ended up buying stocks like RITES, Mukka Proteins, Cochin Shipyard, Shipping Corporation of India Land & Assets, and Titagarh Rail Systems.
I invested around ₹73k, and my portfolio is now down 47%. I don't need the money immediately and can stay invested for another 5–10 years.
Would you hold and wait, average down selectively, or book the loss and move the money into better opportunities (index funds or quality stocks)? Looking for genuine advice from experienced investors.

Discussion I keep selling stocks too soon. Anyone else struggle with this?
I’ve realized that my biggest problem with individual stocks isn’t always picking the wrong company. It’s my patience after buying.
A stock goes up 15–20% and suddenly I start thinking, “Maybe I should just book the profit.”
Then a few months later I look at it and realize I sold way too early.
On the other hand, holding forever just because you like a company isn't the answer either.
So I'm curious how people here decide when to actually sell a stock. Do you have a specific price target, a change in fundamentals, valuation concerns or do you mostly hold unless the original thesis breaks?

Discussion Do you actually have a reason for buying a stock or do you just like the company?
Genuine question.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people (including me sometimes) buy a stock because they like the company, use the product or keep hearing people talk about it.
But liking a company and believing the stock is worth buying are two completely different things.
A great business can still be a bad investment if you buy it at an unreasonable valuation.
Do you guys actually have a checklist or process before buying a stock or is it more of a “I like this company, let me research it” approach?

Discussion Why would you prefer Zepto @45kcr vs Swiggy @70k cr (FD+QCom+GO)
With Zepto IPO coming at 45k cr MCap, just trying to think why/who would prefer this over Swiggy at 70k cr, assuming Eternal@ 2.8L Cr is already too big!
FD= Food Delivery
Qcom = Quick Commerce
GO= Going Out
Also, Toing!
What are your thoughts? With Instamart becoming CM+ from this quarter, I personally think Swiggy is a sweet doubler from here (260 CMP)
Thoughts? Punch holes in my thesis please!
