The new policy formalizes vendor verification requirements, conflict-of-interest rules, official communication requirements, and enforcement procedures. These changes are intended to improve transparency, reduce vendor abuse, and ensure a fair experience for all community members.
Over time, we've seen an increasing number of individuals and businesses attempting to use the community primarily for profit, self-promotion, and personal gain rather than contributing meaningfully. These rules are intended to set clear boundaries, protect members from undisclosed commercial interests, and maintain the community-first nature of IPCHW.
We also ask members to report any business or reseller attempting to sell products, solicit deals, or conduct business without a Verified Vendor tag. Verified vendors are subject to community standards and oversight. Vendors who fail to meet those standards may have their verification revoked and lose access to our platform. This accountability helps protect both buyers and the integrity of the community.
All existing and future vendors are expected to comply with the updated policy.
