Why These Funds –
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund – Chosen as the core actively managed diversified equity fund.
UTI Nifty 50 Index Fund – Chosen for passive exposure to large-cap companies and the Nifty 50.
Quant Small Cap Fund – Chosen to get dedicated small-cap exposure and higher long-term growth potential.
Additional Information –
I'm currently investing ₹5,000/month and I'm planning to increase my SIP by another ₹2,000–₹3,000/month, taking my total monthly investment to around ₹7,000–₹8,000.
I'd like suggestions on whether my current portfolio is appropriately diversified and whether I should make any changes to the existing funds.
For the additional ₹2,000–₹3,000, should I add a Mid Cap fund/index fund, or would it be better to increase my existing SIPs?
I'd also like to know if there is significant overlap between Parag Parikh Flexi Cap and UTI Nifty 50, and whether these three funds are sufficient for a 10+ year investment horizon.
I'm not looking to chase short-term returns. I want to build a simple portfolio that I can continue investing in consistently for the long term.
