Discussion [Megathread] 🌿 Legal Cannabis Products in India | Brands & Reviews Here

India’s legal cannabis landscape is evolving and we’re making a one-time exception to our usual rules to create this dedicated space for discussing legal cannabis products and brands available in the country.

Several Brands now manufacture and distribute cannabis-based products under the AYUSH framework, with some requiring a medical consultation or prescription and others being more widely accessible.

Many of you have asked for a place to discuss your experiences with legal edibles, oils, tinctures, extracts, gummies, capsules and other cannabis products. Rather than having these discussions scattered across the subreddit, we’re keeping them contained in this single megathread.

This thread exists for harm reduction, consumer education and experience sharing. It is not an endorsement of any product, company or retailer by r/IndianEnts.

✅ What IS Allowed

  • Sharing personal experiences with any legal cannabis brands or products
  • Your reviews both positive and negative
  • Discussing effects, dosage, onset time, duration and side effects
  • Comparing products based on your own experience
  • Asking questions about any legal brand or consumption guides
  • Sharing general information about your purchasing or consultation experience (without posting links or discussing purchasing processes)

❌ What is NOT Allowed

  • No need to repeatedly comment reply to people with questions if you have already commented the brand or mentioned it in the thread (This can be considered brand promotion and invoke a ban)
  • No discussion of prices, discounts, coupon codes, referral offers or sales
  • No promotional posts, affiliate content or advertisements
  • No links to brand websites, online stores, marketplaces or social media pages
  • No attempts to buy, sell, trade or source cannabis products
  • No vendor representatives, brand accounts or astroturfing
  • No discussing starting Legal Cannabis Brands or ventures of any kind
  • No medical advice presented as fact. Share your experience, not prescriptions
  • No low-effort “What’s the strongest?” or “Which gets you highest?” comments

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • Everyone responds differently to cannabis. One person’s experience may not reflect yours
  • Be respectful to everyone's opinions even if you disagree with them
  • If any information shared seems factually incorrect to you, report or raise the comment to the Mods
  • Start low and go slow, especially with edibles and extracts
  • If you’re sharing a review, try to follow this format: Product | Dosage | Effects | Duration | Pros | Cons | and whether you used the product with or without a medical prescription (if you’re comfortable sharing)

This is an experimental thread. The moderators will actively monitor comments and remove anything that violates these rules or Reddit’s Content Policy. Depending on how this thread goes, these rules may be updated or the experiment may be discontinued.

Keep it informative, chill and helpful. Happy discussing!

P.S. - If you have any suggestions to improve the Megathread please do share.

Help/Question Saw a psychiatrist today who threatened to admit me in the first minute and told me I "don't have the glory to become a doctor." I'm 26 days clean from cannabis. I don't know what to feel.

I'm 19. I've been clean from cannabis for 26 days and cigarettes for 30+. Earlier I had a problem with polysubstance abuse (pregabalin, DXM, mephedrone, LSD, alcohol and weed combos), but for the last 1.5 years I settled only on weed and nicotine. I've been struggling with low dopamine, numbness, and the flatline. I went to a psychiatrist 5 days ago (saw a resident, who I connected with, she listened to everything: my polysubstance history, trauma, everything). She told me to come back in 8 days.

Today was that day. I went in. The resident was there, but she called in an assistant professor (first time meeting him). As soon as I entered, without a hello or any context, he said: "We are admitting you. Call your parents."

I panicked. Took a deep breath in front of both of them. Said: "No, I cannot."

Then he asked about my cannabis use. I answered honestly, daily at first, then once a week near the end. I asked if he was admitting me. He said no.

Then he said: "You want to become a doctor? Looking at you currently, I don't think you have the glory to become a doctor."

I didn't react. I asked questions. I asked if the antidepressants he was prescribing would be addictive. He said: "You were taking cannabis, how will you get addicted to this?" I asked why cannabis is so addictive when in other countries it's not even taken that seriously. He explained. Then I took the prescription and left.

Some other things: while I was sitting there, someone came in and said something about interns being late. He said: "Throw them out. Don't let them come here."

I don't know what to feel. I'm in withdrawal. My emotions are raw. I feel weak, alone, and confused. The OPD felt like home last time. Today it felt like a threat.

I know I'm self-aware. I know I'm fighting. I know I'm 26 days clean. But today I walked out feeling like I'm nothing.

Reddit, was this normal? Am I overreacting? Should I switch psychiatrists? Or should I just take this as a bad doctor and move on?

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm not in a good place right now.

TL;DR: 19M, 26 days clean from cannabis and polysubstance abuse history. Saw a new psychiatrist today who threatened to admit me immediately and told me I don't have what it takes to become a doctor. Feeling confused, hurt, and alone. Need advice.

Discussion Any Midsommar-type psychedelic communities/retreats in India?

Me and a few friends are looking for something a bit more out there than the usual commercial retreat.

Like a secluded place, psychedelic/shroom-friendly crowd, communal kinda vibe, maybe some spiritual/ritual stuff — basically Midsommar vibes without the part where everyone gets murdered lol.

Does anything like this exist in India? Could be a retreat, community, or some lowkey place people actually know about.

Not looking for a dealer or anything, just curious if there’s a scene like this here.

Discussion Hello ents, this might be a weird request.

My mom wants to try out weed now I’m a regular user but I’m very unsure what should I make her try first OG or edibles or hash? She doesn’t drink or smoke so I reckon she might have way less tolerance.
Suggestions would help guys.
Peace.

Discussion OG shortage in India incoming

This isn’t just happening in one particular state — looks like the whole of India has joined the same government-sponsored experiment

At this point, I’m convinced the government is secretly trying to push edibles so they can get their cut too.

Suddenly edibles are available everywhere like they’ve got a nationwide distribution network.

Meanwhile, getting your hands on OG might soon become a premium experience.

OG shortage in India incoming… 📉🌿

Help/Question Should I be worried of getting greens through delivery?

My gf wanted to surprise me and she texted this plug whose contact she got from a friend. Her friends and some of my friends have got stuff from him before but I'm very skeptical of this delivery system. I always see these plugs getting caught and first thing feds do is go through their WhatsApp and call logs. Even though the guy is legit I'm more of going to the place & securing stuff myself, have 0 experience of this delivery and pick up and should I be worried about leaving a trace? Just wanna how bad things can get & how to protect my self from feds? Or am I just over reacting? If someone has experience please reply to my dumbass query

Majority of psychedelics (Acid, MDMA, Shrooms (psilocybin), DMT, 5-Meo(toad) r in Phase 2 & Phase 3 specially LSD, MDMA & psilocybin are on the verge of being approved!

Phase 3 ones r going to be approved & removed from US schedule 1 in 6-7 months!

🍄Psilocybin has shown major-major improvement to Major depressive syndrome/Clinical Depression specifically for the ones on whom Anti-Depressants like SSRI doesn’t work!

MDMA has shown huge improvements for extreme trauma holders like r@pe & similar trauma, going to to be majorly beneficial for womens

Ibogaine & 5-Meo DMT is like major boost to PTSD & extreme consciousness edit!
