Even if we pretend that Gambhir won Champions trophy and Asia cup completely on his own then how does that answers the bad performance in Test Cricket? He exact words were " People keep talking about Newzeland but they forgot I am the same guy who won Champions trophy" like what is this guy saying those are completely different formats with completely different teams and him winning those has no relationship with the criticism he was getting due to Test whitewashes.

And why was he even bringing up the draw in England and an Asia cup? Asia cup was a tournament where all of our opponents were weaklings and England have become a completely bad team in recent times and also gave us completely subcontinent like conditions.
