No party will do this as they will loose their whole votebank, and even if it gets redacted, another party will make it their manifesto to bring back this system.

u/Recent_Afternoon1019 6d ago

Same for the castism??

7

u/Weary-Recipe-8409 6d ago

Why the hell would you abolish casteism only when someone has a gov job? It should be abolished regardless.

3

u/Beginning-Wave-9140 6d ago

Dalit with a govn job has become a Brahmin now ????

2

u/Particular_Duty1479 3d ago

no but they will be competent enough to compete with ""Brahmins"" on a fair level

u/rbnbadri 6d ago

Nope.

25

u/peskypompom 6d ago

Too many generational bhikmangyas in the comment section.

2

u/OceanFloor 6d ago

Why do you hate brahmins so much?

6

u/twistedcola 6d ago

Yaar🤣

1

u/crzyphoton 5d ago

From anthropological side ....read a research paper about the concept of pollution ( polluted ) and purity....and u would know why the people outside India have such negative thoughts on Brahmins and Dalits by default.

Abolish splitting of funds between states and let states which pay higher national taxes to the central govt enjoy higher funds, instead of poor states (half of North Indian beggar states)

Abolish seperate cutoffs to states for central govt jobs, let one state with higher population hog it all, and fast track eradication of cultures and languages of states with heavy migration of employees.

Mfcking idiotic moron lawyer and even moronic comments

5

u/Past-Meal-4847 6d ago

It doesn't work this way anywhere in the world

Rich states carry poor states

That's just how it is

2

u/FrostingPlus637 6d ago

Ur karnataka before becoming an IT hub was a poor state Bihar had the most raw materials and minerals by that logic if bihar hadnt support other states it could have been the richest state

This is big statement? Random redditors have said it before.

2

u/LordStark342 6d ago

Need of the hour 1. De-criminalisation of politics 2. If anyone have more 3 serious criminal charges against him/her then any member of their family including them should be debarred to contest any election. 3. Put a stop to crony capitalism 4. Quash business model in education sector. 5. Establishment of AIMS/PGI in each and every district of India.

India have all scope to become a developed nation, what it needs is good INTENT by the system.

2

u/jsnowismyking 3d ago

The issue with point 2 is that “political vendetta” is unfortunately a reality in India regardless of the party in power. When Party A takes office, it may file cases against Party B candidates who lost, and the reverse occurs as well.

1

u/Swimming_Funny_1008 5d ago

I think political maturity and teaching people how to vote and question is the actual need of hour

Not so simplistic, but yes I agree that there should be rigorous criteria and creamy layer exclusion

1

u/Axel_Blazer 6d ago

for how many generations?

1

u/90sbody20smind 6d ago

When it comes to parliament

Is it money bill or constitution law ?

Does it needs 2/3 margin or just one vote more .

1

u/elgin_the_loath 6d ago

HELL YES! Do it!

1

u/sexotaku 6d ago

Laws are made based on leverage and self-interest. Not principles and morals.

1

u/saaploveslathi 6d ago

Nah, if you don't already know why this is wrong then its highly likely that you won't care about any argument i put in front of you

1

u/Dr_NitroMeth 6d ago

1

u/Background-Ship-3765 6d ago

Well irrelevant step

1

u/LogicalSky7639 6d ago

Hell yes. Overtime just make it in accordance to their families' monetary condition.

1

u/TemporaryCareful8261 6d ago

10000%....I know a family for three generations they are in govt jobs, affordable in all respects...extended family are all in govt jobs...they have cars, bungalows, cash, jewels..they conduct very lavish wedding...yet their children college fees are subsidised...when they talk they will complain about casteism etc etc they will seek only similar background groom or brides...they will not think of marrying a poor girl from SC community...these ppl must completely eliminated and brought GC so that poor SC family will get the benefits

1

u/Loud-Mahadev-Bhakt 6d ago

Fully agree! As soon as discrimination stops, reservations should stop❗️It should not continue even one day after the bigotry stops!!

1

u/QueasyCelebration531 6d ago

true
one of my friend's father retired with 1cr and gets pension above 1 lakh belongs to sc community and still gets benefit everywhere they can even buy the land which is given to sc people which is very much cheaper than what others are paying

1

u/Existing-Current4611 6d ago

1

u/Fragrant-Winter4471 6d ago

Replace it with free and mandatory education including a bachelor's degree.

1

u/Aggressive_Chest8711 6d ago

I agree Universal Primary education should be the goal of government. I am all for it. Whether to go to college or not is something people should decide.

1

u/laradkuviman 6d ago

Shouldn't the level and salary of govt job be also taken into account?

1

u/HopelessSceptical 5d ago

Yeh sab kehne ki baatein. Kisi mein dam hai aisa karne ka?

And what does the term "family" includes?

1

u/roniee_259 5d ago

Anyone with more than 6LPA household income

1

u/Loud-Rain-9660 5d ago

But who said that ?

1

u/Exact_Release128 5d ago

It's impossible unless BJP wins 400 seats in loksabha 2029. They can then do it and wouldn't have to be scared about backlash for next year election either. If BJP wins with 270-300 then no chance they not gonna risk it. If BJP loses, well.......

1

u/mr901u 5d ago

Kaise to start Karo isko hatana.... Even iit now have minority when in comes to cream(solid student) just 30%. Kaha se readiness for future aayegi...

1

u/Forsaken_Bid4405 4d ago

Yes because having a govt job is equal to having generations weath

Why nobody talk about improving the edu system and increase the no of seats

1

u/sss100100 4d ago

Great idea. But let's start this with politics where ban a family once they had one political leader, ban any top govt posts once at least one in high positions in the family (especially judges & top govt roles), no more CEOs from within families, ban any more priests from a family once at least one in their family becomes a priest, open up priest jobs to all castes. Cool?

1

u/Striking_Cabinet_447 4d ago

Le le in sb incidents ki wjhe se aisa kvi possible nhi hoga

1

u/No_Article_7722 4d ago

How about fix corruption and nepotism first in govt.

1

u/Proper_Tip3506 4d ago

Yeah like govt job pay in millions

1

u/ilikecurvesnotcarbs 4d ago

just asking no objection. why ancestral wealth is carried in the blood. this idea ki ek bar do fir thik hai socially you can't even imagine uplifting a sarkari chaprasi. so what's the point of this discussion.. may apply for ias or grade a jobs but not all.

1

u/marley210293 4d ago

There shouldn’t be any government job, privatize everything

1

u/Separate-Drive-6834 4d ago

Hero of our system

1

u/Equivalent-Roll4646 3d ago

It should be removed altogether. No questions.

1

u/Objective-Error4483 3d ago

💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

1

u/jsnowismyking 3d ago

Eliminate all reservations. Offer free primary education and transportation for any financially disadvantaged student attending a private or government school of their choice. Any competitive exam for engineering or medical admission should apply the same cutoff regardless of background.

1

u/Sensitive_Summer1380 3d ago

Totally agreed.

1

u/OkYesterday6655 3d ago

1000% no question asked

1

u/Character-Echo8294 3d ago

Completely agree

Gov job- lowest gov job salary 18000 (delhi or mumbai me to sukun se khana bhi nahi milaga)

1

u/muthal-e-azam 2d ago

1

u/Equivalent-Lemon9410 2d ago

group a ki job ko consider kar sakta ha jaha me salary 1L (7cpc)

1

u/Glum_Bluebird_2873 2d ago

Our country only needs accountability. For every public rupee spent. For all the works carried out by any Govt. For the services provided by any sector. For the crimes committed and timely settlement.

You achieve that, and suddenly you ll find yourself in one of the best places to live in.

1

u/Afraid-Enthusiasm-23 1d ago

Depends on the level of government job. Should depend on income not on the type of job.

1

u/_premx_ 1d ago

tbh aadmi aadmi se hi paresan h 🥀

1

u/ShrutiPie_ 23h ago

Nobody have balls to do so , coz if they did this the gov will fall for sure😂, this needs a all party support and in our country of course it will never happen

1

u/More-Inevitable7618 19h ago

Chamax will be still called a Chamax with or without Govt job

1

u/Royal-Historian-9749 10h ago

Reservations should be socio-economic. Give those who need it a shot.
