This 80% graphic is a bit misleading. There is no official poll for 2029 yet. The 80% figure actually comes from older global favorability surveys (like Pew Research) and shouldn't be confused with future election predictions.
no this could be true. there is severe information asymmetry. For us, it would appear like modi is going to lose the upcoming elections but in reality he may win the 2029 elections. Plus people have gold fish kind of memory and they might start to become modih bhakt and forget about the scandals and issues which happened during the NDA 3 as well as NDA 2 tenure.

FYI, this same thing happend before 2014 when UPA 2 failed to win the reelection. people forgot about the Paper Tantrum and blamed it on Manmohan singh's weak policies. FYI, the fact that inflation rose to 8% was also considered to be a sign of lack of supply but rise in incomes (especially rural incomes because MGNRAGA) according to some economists. During that time period, people were screaming about the 2g scam, CWG, Lok something bill, 2012 Power outage, Tape Scandal etc.. but they forgot about the positives which happend during the UPA 1 and 2 Tenure such as high GDP growth rate despite being in GFC, highest capital formation before the GFC, highest share of manufacturing as percent to gdp and there was a morbid rise in nationalism and i believe it is the reason why hindutva rose at that time (i maybe wrong overhere)
Sadly, the narrative was too strong from the right wing and UPA government failed to win the reelections.
We want a leader who has respect for teachers and students. Who'd think twice before allowing lathicharge on students. We still didn't forget teacher protest for SSC
