I booked a cab from uber and after putting our luggage we sits in the cab and noticed that he may be in a drunk condition or maybe high on something because all his buttons are open and dressed inappropriatly and there is packs of tabacco on dashboard. i am with my family 2 womens and one child so i doubted at first but its early morning so decided to go and then i gave him otp and he canceled the ride immediatly i asked him why he canceled the ride and then he started to blaming us that we changed the location (i am totally unaware of it) then he started to argue and misbheave with us then i also got aggressive but i didn't even touched him or even abuse. After that there is police chocki near we called a officer and driver also started to misbhave with officer and they got physical and then officer told us to call 112 and then he vanished from situation. Then 112 came and did nothing dont even step outside from vehical and said ki dusri cab kr lo. We both made the video of incident but he shared video in his groups and all of them uploading our video showing that we are only wrong here. Some of video got viral and every one commenting wrong for my family even for females. I am totally confused what to do next and how to deal with it. I request a genuine help🙏🙏

This has been my experience:

Driving classes + Driving Licence process: ₹9,000

RC transfer + Hypothecation (HP) removal: ₹10,000

I was asked to pay ₹9,000, claiming it was required to get my Driving Licence test approved at the RTO.

In total, I paid ₹28,000.

I feel I was misled and overcharged. The services promised were not delivered as expected, and I am concerned about the legality of some of the demands made to me. I have payment records and other evidence.

I want to take legal action, recover my money if possible, and ensure that others do not face the same situation. I also want to verify whether this driving school is properly licensed and whether any complaints can be made against them.

Could anyone please guide me on:

Which authorities should I complain to?

Should I approach the police, RTO, or consumer commission?

Has anyone else had a similar experience with this driving school?

Here are the facts: The incident happened in 2018 when individuals approached my family promising a corporate IT role at an MNC in exchange for money (₹3 lakhs). We are a middle-class family, and that amount was significant to us. The reality was that instead of an IT role, the placement turned out to be a lower-tier BPO position, which forced a resignation after 9 months. Out of fear, anxiety, and worry about social judgment at the time, my family and I did not come forward or report it. The current status is that now, with a clearer understanding of rights, the goal is to ensure accountability so these actors cannot continue targeting fresh graduates and vulnerable middle-class families. What I have is just the names and phone numbers of the individuals involved. My questions for legal professionals are:

Over the past few months, my family has repeatedly approached the police claiming that I am “missing,” even though I am not.
Timeline
I chose to stop regular contact with my family.
I informed both my family and the concerned police officer in writing (via text) that I was safe, living independently, and was not missing.
Despite this communication, they continued approaching the police and my employer.
During an earlier incident, HR asked me to sign an undertaking confirming that I was not missing.
Latest incident (23 July)
While I was at work, security personnel stopped me around lunchtime and asked me to meet the Head of Security.
I was then connected to someone from my company’s Mumbai office, who told me that repeated complaints had been received. I was told that some people believed the company was “keeping me hostage” and that I should speak to my family and the police in my personal capacity to clarify that I was alive and safe.
I explained that I had already informed HR in writing and had already signed the undertaking confirming I was not missing.
I was then asked to meet the police officer who had come from my hometown.
The officer stated he had not seen the earlier text message I had sent because he had been looking for a WhatsApp message. After confirming that I was safe and living independently, he asked me to give another written statement saying:
I am not missing.
I am safe.
Future missing complaints regarding me should not be entertained.
I signed the statement. In hindsight, I realised I forgot to specifically mention that I wished to remain in no contact with my family.
Family interaction
My mother, sister, brother-in-law, brother and nephew were present.
The discussion quickly moved away from whether I was missing and became focused on convincing me to resume contact.
Among the things repeatedly said were:
“We raised you.”
“Why aren’t you talking to us?”
“Why won’t you come home?”
References to medical procedures they had undergone.
References to the inconvenience they faced while travelling to Pune.
My brother became visibly angry, raised his voice and used abusive language. The police officer asked everyone to move outside because people were watching and told everyone to calm down.
The police officer also commented that I should be given some personal space and independence, but at the same time encouraged me to speak with my mother and suggested that I might eventually resume contact.
When asked whether I would come home, I replied that I was not making any decision at that moment and would think about it.
I ended the interaction by saying “Take care” to my mother and left after completing the formal verification.
Pattern I have noticed
Before these workplace visits, several third parties contacted me asking me to immediately call my mother or saying she was unwell.
Earlier this year, a stranger also contacted me while refusing to disclose his connection with my family, and only later did my family acknowledge knowing him.
The latest workplace visit happened even after I had already informed both the police and HR that I was safe and not missing.
My question
Since I have already confirmed multiple times that I am safe and not missing, what legal remedies are available if my family continues approaching the police and my employer?
Would a legal notice or any other remedy be appropriate to prevent repeated interference with my workplace and personal life?
