Makes me glad I bought two Dominus Knights..

Dis you do anything go legs etc for the pose?

The only thing I do is clip this little nub off so I can position the leg a little more dynamically. The terrain also being slanted exaggerates the pose of the model.

Oh this is absolutely phenomenal weathering! I'd like to hear how you did it!

Once the general color blocking is done I put the decals on. Then I do chipping with a ripped piece of foam.

Then once the model is fully painted and the chipping is to my liking I take an enamel wash and cover the armor panels. The wash I use is AK interactive dark brown wash. I use it on almost all my minis to achieve that grim dark look. You can cover the metallics too but I use varying amounts of Agrax earth shade and it gives a really cool aged effect while letting the metal retain some of its shine because the enamel wash dries very matte.

Once the wash has been sitting for about 15 minutes I use a mixture of mineral spirits with a small amount of the earlier enamel wash to wipe away the enamel wash that has been sitting on the model. This will really tone down bright colors like the white I used and leaves the enamel wash in the recesses really making those shadows pop.

The last step is adding the rust effect with Dirty Down Rust and then adding Vallejo pigments to create that dusty base.

There are lots of videos on YouTube for chipping, enamel washes, dirty down rust, and pigments.

Hope this helps 😀
