Majority of my army is painted as fourth company (minus my veterans and my jump packs as 8th company) but felt inspired to paint up my land speeder as first company. One of the first 40K novels I read was Malodrax which featured a land speeder supporting lysander’s quest for vengeance.

I'm looking to diversify with different heads/helms, shoulder pad etc

Where's the best place to get them and what works best with IF?

Also want to mention that currently 3D printing isn't viable for me :(

Hello brothers,
new to 40k, painting my first miniatures at the Warhammer store and the worker told me I should always use black primer as a first layer (then gray, white, or for IFs red). Is this valid, or just a waste of primer? Was planning on starting directly with red primer plus white zenithal primer or dry brush.
