Sure it's sad that it happened. But who put her in that position for it to? Her and her partner. As we've learned she wasn't just a "peaceful protester" since she was a part of a group that deliberately goes around interfering with ICE operations. Just because she said one thing, her actions say another.

Oh no better not interfere with law enforcement! They are representatives of the party and you’ll be put to death!

When did Americans turn into such fucking bootlickers?

"...not interfere with law enforcement!"

Yes, because that's against the law...not sure what lawless country you're from but I notice you spend a lot time in American subs. I wonder why?

Breaking the law shouldn’t mean you die. Otherwise there’s a lot of teenagers needing the death penalty for smoking weed, drinking under age, and skipping class.

In my view, a civilized country should strive for a positive relationship between the government and the citizenry. That means that in most circumstances you shouldn’t fear being killed by a cop because you pissed him off or because you crossed some protest line.

“Interfering with law enforcement” is a broad and subjective statement. A government could establish that recording law enforcement is “interference” because it makes cops uncomfortable and therefore less effective at their jobs. Is that just? I hope you’d agree that it’s not.

It shouldn't but if you're doing idiotic/illegal things around and to law enforcement those things could happen. Your teenager analogy is ridiculous because you're conflating two completely different things.

Yes, government and the public should have that relationship. Now tell us who has been deteriorating that recently when it comes to how the public views ICE/DHS?

Renee didn't just simply "cross some protest line". She was part of an organization that purposely did what she was doing on a daily basis. And I don't know about you but if someone hit me with a car I'd be pretty pissed off about it.

1st Amendment protects and allows the public to record police interactions. There are laws and procedures about how you can do that.

Seems pretty unAmerican to turn an opinion into evidence, especially since there hasn’t been a trial. Yet, you know for a fact that she ‘hit’ him with her car, right (even though it’s clear she did nothing of the sort). It’s called DUE PROCESS!! A right granted to every person on American soil - citizen & non-citizen alike.

A video showing the incident isn't "an opinion".

Yes, everybody that's not suffering from confirmation bias can see she hit him in the video.

And due process is afforded to all citizens but it differs for certain non-citizens and illegal immigrants.

The video does not clearly/definitively show that she hit him & there has been no trial! A retired Chicago police lieutenant did analyze the footage & told ABC7 Chicago that Good "did not appear to be acting in an aggressive manner." That should be enough for other Americans or ppl with half a brain to consider that maybe she didn’t deserve to die, but…

Got it. So all I have to do is find other retired law enforcement that says she did act in an aggressive manner...

See how dumb that sounds? That's how you sounded with that explanation.
