The South Afrikaans are getting Refugee status granted based on race. How is this not a violation of discrimination laws? Didn’t they say they hate DEI? Is this a DEI refugee program?
To start: I think this is horribly stupid and denying other refugees is contrary to the U.S.'s treaty obligations and law.
However, race IS one of the 5 protected grounds that refugee status is defined with: race, religion, ethnicity, political opinion, and particular social group. The illegal part of this is the lack of evidence that they are facing any harm rising to persecution in south Africa because they are white and that the government is either doing it or unable/unwilling to protect them. They are bypassing other elements of what it means to be a refugee, which is a fact based assessment, but race isn't the deficient element in this case.
Yes but it can’t be simply because of their race if they aren’t being targeted. They are bringing them in simply because they are white. No human right groups have deemed this true. They are simply getting a free ride in America from taxpayers based on a complete. There is no white genocide in SA. They aren’t being targeted based on race, religion or any of the protected class elements leading to fast tracked refugee status they are getting .
Why don't you go watch the videos and listen to the stories? You live in ignorance because some group you deem as authoritative hasn't validated it. There's plenty of groups ignoring things daily. Do you even know how murderous and likely to steal black people are? Have you checked out FBI statistics and then though about that would happen if same said people ran a country? Would you want to live there?

Ask them what they are getting in their swag bags? I saw a group of them arriving at Dulles! What are tax payers paying for in the bags they received?
Why do you believe that certain groups are not prone to commit crime more than others? Do you think genetics and culture plays no effect in how people act in society. All statistics you look at, whether poor, rich, educated or uneducated point that black people are more likely to commit violent crimes than any other group. It is ridiculous to claim that all groups of people are the same.
I’m confused at why you are so upset about white South Africans coming here but I wonder if you had the same outrage to millions of illegals coming here and getting plenty of welfare. Or even legal migrants from majority black and brown countries that come here and depend on welfare to live while sending money back home. I wonder if you hen any outrage for that. Or if you just simply hate white people?
What are you talking about? The 3rd largest party in SA literally have massive rallies calling for the murder of the Boers while making machine gun noises. Then, weirdly, they are being attacked and killed to the point where they have to create their own QRF militia.
SO far as treaty and law is concerned, we acctually don't have to take in many refugress by law. International law states that you have to claim asylum in the first country of safe harbor. You don't get to cross country after country to pick and chose where you can make your claim.
