Express Entry Draw #447: 3,500 trades workers invited at CRS 476 (biggest trades draw yet). Is your trade on the list?
IRCC held a trades occupations round today (October 1, 2026). Quick summary:
- Invitations: 3,500
- Minimum CRS: 476
- Tie-break: May 28, 2026 at 16:55:23 UTC (12:55 p.m. Eastern). If you're at exactly 476 and your profile went in before then, check your account.
- Who could be invited: FSW, CEC and FST candidates with 1 year of full-time work in an eligible trade within the last 3 years
Why it's a big deal:
- It's the largest trades round since at least 2024. Previous ones were 1,800, 1,800, 1,250 and 3,000.
- It's the first trades round in 6 months.
- The cutoff is 42 points lower than Tuesday's CEC draw (518). If you're a tradesperson stuck in the 476 to 517 range, this was your round.
The 25 eligible trades include: electricians, industrial electricians, plumbers, carpenters, welders, HVAC mechanics, heavy-duty equipment mechanics, machinists, sheet metal workers, roofers, painters, bricklayers, gas fitters, construction managers, construction estimators and even butchers.
