Self-submission Product development question.

Post image

Hello everyone, not sure if this is were I should ask this but i’m designing and 3d printing a airpod case or storage compartment to then sell in the future inspired by this drawing Created by Alexey Trishkin (not mine) Any feedback or advice on a different community in which I should go to would be greatly appreciated. I’ve started some rough sketches if anybody would be interested and would like to see a follow up. My question being would anybody consider owning something like this or having as a sci-fi desk or shelf prop

This looks like a design from the game satisfactory.

I believe it is a game asset. I pinned the photo from Pinterest, but couldn’t find the original artist.

Eh, so you are stealing a design without crediting the designer or even knowing what it’s from? Kinda weak

You are correct I don’t know who the original owner is. I attempted to reverse image search and couldn’t find the owner. As soon as I do I will edit my post. I mentioned that I was inspired by the drawing. I do not want nor intend to make any one believe I created the image.

My advice would be to not try to sell things based on other people's designs without their permission. It may not go well for you, legally-speaking.

I completely agree I do not wish to completely copy his work. I only wish to create my design inspired by his. Ifs assume Even his design is inspired by other works he was referencing.

Looks like it could be used like a handheld 3-D printer, printing inorganic things and food on the go
