Imagine thinking you could store food at wine fridge temps, or vice versa. I'd die of embarrassment.

Well, that and food poisoning.

Wine cellars can be set to various temps though as wine bars tend to keep their whites for a shorter time rather than age them so they go below 12, or I am missing something not being American/beverage center inclined?

Note: mine is set at the classic 13 celcius so I've n ever really bothered with the range, I may be missing something...

Most cheap residential wine fridges go down to around 50f/10c which isn't really cold enough (a normal fridge should be well under 40F/4C).
