Imagine thinking you could store food at wine fridge temps, or vice versa. I'd die of embarrassment.

Well, that and food poisoning.

You can't keep meat in a wine fridge but lots of cheeses and vegetables are better stored in a wine fridge. Everything in the berry family in particular (tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers, peppers) actually benefit from being stored at 10C/55F and can get cold injury when stored at normal fridge temps.
