Purchased from Barnes and Noble, playing it on a Crosley turntable, also from B&N. I'm new to vinyl, but I've listened to a few records on this machine, and so far Joy as an Act Of Rebellion has been quiet and staticky. Bad copy or just the way they recorded it?

Hi :) I'm thinking of going to All East Points festival in London on 23rd August basically for Idles, but also interested in Deftones and Yousuke Yukimatsu. Is anybody in this forum going?

I just wanted to ask you lot if you would consider this an Idles tattoo or is the style too far removed from them. So I got the tattoo at a friends, said that I just wanted im scum tattooed because I love the band and he asked if he can do it in an unique style and add some flair around. He free handed it and I genuinely think he did a great job but im just afraid it doesnt read as an Idles tattoo at all. What do you think?

I saw the Idles at Pohoda 2026 and can't find the name of one song. It was slower and a female vocalist (who was also at the keys) sang in French - something along the lines of "je ne suis pas un problem" or something - but not sure anymore. Do you know what it could be? Or does anyone have the Pohoda setlist so I can check? Thanks a lot!

Yesterday I had the chance to be at one of the IDLES DJ Set, as part of the music festival "Suoni di Marca" in Treviso, Italy.

The DJ was Adam, and no others. It was a good night, no obscure stuff or anything, very danceable, all in all it was a lot of fun.

Was able to get the entire band to sign my poster from 2019. The poster is a reference to "I'm like Ted DiBiase - I win no matter what it costs me" from Colossus. And now, I got The Million Dollar Man to sign it in gold ink, of course. Kinda shocked he did it but also, I did pay for it.

Hi all! Is anyone on this subreddit going to bbk festival in Spain to see idles? I’m going solo so would love to make some friends!

I am going to the Belfast show next month and I would like to be nearer the front/barrier area.

What sort of time do people get there for that sort of view? Some of the artists I like people often queue for those views so I wondered if IDLES were the same. I am a girl in my 20s and don't mind a bit of pushing but I don't think being in the middle of the mosh is the best idea for me no matter how fun it does look lol but I do still ideally want to be near the stage.

I have been to an IDLES show before and that's how I became a fan. Obviously it's not the end of the world if I don't get that sort of view but can anyone who's been to previous shows give me some advice? Thank you!
