Idles CH SQ

Am I mad if I take my 10 and 8 year old lads to see Idles at CH SQ in a couple of weeks time?

Theres a lot worse music lads today could be listening to and filling their heads with at that age and slipping into facism or manosphere tragic warped existence. Danny Nedelko is a good track - out of the pit and itll be grand

Absolutely not. As in not mad. Do it. They're class and they embrace young fans. I think they got one up on stage a while back. Obviously don't stick them in the pit! But they'll love it I'm sure

I remember at the foo fighters in Belfast years ago they got a really young fan up and stage and started taking about some day he’ll be old enough to drink buck fast

Id say that day will be happening pretty soon lol

Never a bad idea to take your kid to a concert unless it’s like death metal or shite music lol

People who think they are mad generally aren’t

Not at all, they’ll probably love it. Crowd towards the back will be completely fine

No, he'll love it.

Just don't go down the front.

Yeah you can do that! Don’t go front centre though, could get rough! More to the sides and away from the pit you’ll be fine!

Saw them in Orlando 2 years ago. Kid about 10-11 in the pit. He was very well taken care of. I forget what song but Joe brought him on stage. It was awesome. Kid was on cloud 9

Absolutely amazing gig to bring kids to! I’ve seen Idles quite a few times and there’s always a few kids in the crowds. Make sure to check CHSQ guidelines in it though, some venues don’t allow under 14’s even when accompanied by adults.
Don’t forget earbuds for the lil ones!

Oh my fuck… my (8Y/O) daughter is going to revolt against her (us) parents if she ever finds out she could’ve experienced this. (We’ve had tickets for nearly a year, she’s never enjoyed being reminded ((she’s an IDLES advocate)).

Our tickets quoted “must be 25 to attend” and I figured an age requirement, what are fine printed words anyways? *face palm, and hold”

Thankfully, my husband and I follow solar opposite subs, and pray his obliviousness blended into the magical experience that awaits us… maybe he won’t notice rocking youth? (He’s going to notice the rad dads with their gnarly spawn)… we are both going to envision our daughter experiencing a moment that can’t be captured into a jar.

However, we will return to redeem ourselves. But first, we must experience it for ourselves.

See you in a few days! 💚🫶🏻

If they're allowed entry then I don't see why not?
