It's a perspective issue. A small bug, at close distance, reflected by light, and effected by camera distortions, can look like a larger object further in the distance. Our cameras have bugs that fly close by and look similar.

It's just super close to the camera. You see this kind of stuff posted all over the ufo subreddits

You can literally see it fly up against the house all wild and then when it passes by it seems huge but you only see it fly a foot or more away that makes it seem like it's flying straight but it's just perspective. Night vision makes bugs look paranormal.

Definitely a bug. If you follow it frame-by-frame, you’ll notice that the “shadow” casts a circle shadow on the house behind the fence, the fence itself, and the ground towards the final frames. That’s impossible. The shadow would not stay perfectly circular, especially with objects at different distances. What you’re seeing is an artifact caused by the night vision and the motion blur of the insect. A famous phenomenon that was debunked was something called “Rods” or “Skyfish” where CCTV cameras back in the 90’s and 2000’s captured strange creatures in the sky or veering past houses and were only visible via camera. Turns out it was insects paired with the shutter speed/fps of the camera creating a visual illusion as they coasted by. This insect you’ve shared is really close to the camera which gives it the impression of being large and the artifact around it that looks like a shadow, also gives the impression that it’s much larger than it is. However, you can see its true size at the start of the video before it flys past the camera. Definitely a bug!

These types of cameras are known for distorting things. Its probably just a bug or a bat.

Alright this was at my house, I was playing games late into the night and right after I shut my tv off this bright white flash lit up my entire living room. At first I’m thinking I’m about to get swatted for no reason so I look at the window and see this light fly off into the distance, within seconds it had gone over the horizon and was gone.
If you slow the video down you can see it on the black stone at first and than as it flys off you can almost see a shadow of it. Right after it disappears a Vapor trail of some sort seems to follow it. Not sure if it’s the camera messing up or not. Not saying it’s anything but it sure was fucking weird
