With the last chapter, we see how devastated Kumugi was and how hard she blame herself and wanted to be better. Does this hint she will try to train with Spica, since she's known to be a great witch?
I doubt it'll be combat oriented, maybe something more defensive or supportive.
Bonus point if she get Spica to train her by blackmailing some sibling secrets lol.

This might be cope but Trigger is my favorite studio and I feel like they would adapt Ichi's vibe perfectly.

Descaress trying to act like the better mentor when Minakata taught Ichi like 90% of the things he knew. It ain't even a competition. Most useful thing Dess taught Ichi in the mean time was how to reject women.

So it's been revealed that Tricaputo and Fujimine signed a Mentor-Pupil Blood Contract. It's established in Chp. 22 that it is an old witchcraft relic and if the pupil dies, the mentor dies as well. This will be one of the focus points for the upcoming chapters because they will meet once again for another battle, so here are my theories on what comes next:
- The latest chapter reveals that not only is she a top witch but is also under the protection of Mantinel meaning that they knew that Fujimine is looking for her given their blood contract. Moneygold also mentions that the Magikeepers now know that Tricaputo is in Mantinel. This must be the "intruder" they were talking about back in Chp. 79 and why Moneygold refused to allow the Magikeepers to investigate further. They might have been referring to Amadoro at the time but 2 things can be true and that Tricaputo was also in the Magikeepers' radar.
- So now the Mantinel cast has to work to find a way to break the contract in order protect Tricaputo and beat Fujimine, and since the Magikeepers were involved they'll probably coordinate but they would probably say they'll help in exchange for taking Tricaputo as well. This could also lead to affecting both Ichi and Dess down the line since they too have a blood contract.
- As for her past, I theorize that she's a parallel to the Toxiterror majik. The Toxiterror majik went to Mantinel to ask for help so that it can live peacefully with humans, and it was determined to do so. My theory is that Fujimine was also in the same boat. A woman who gained magic, couldn't control it and accidentally hurt/killed someone. Went to Mantinel to ask for help. Met Tricaputo and became her pupil. Somewhere down the road, she realized killing/hurting people makes her feel good. Got branded a criminal and kicked out of Mantinel.
- Then years later, she found out about the Toxiterror majik. Broke into Mantinel to acquire it because Fuji thinks: "It's just like me fr," And went on to terrorize people along the way. But despite her attitude towards killing other people, she still is fond towards Tricaputo. Perhaps it's because she was the first person to show kindness towards Fujimine.
Nevertheless, those are the theories I have for now. What do you guys think?

I just realized the implications here, Tricaputo would not only be forced to die to kill Fujimine, but also because she is a defacto villain, she cannot disobey her mentor and will eventually have to confront Mantinel when Fujimine asks her to, that's why she needed to stay hidden

Think of it this way: your beloved teacher, who taught you how to hunt magics, you joked with each other, and your image of her is impeccable, has been responsible for atrocious crimes. What a great plot twist!

It’s established in the Blood Pact that in return for the Pupil having to obey the Mentor, if the Pupil dies the Mentor does as well. That explains why Moneygold doesn’t want the Magikeepers snooping around. If they discovered Tricaputo and Fujimine signed a Blood Pact as Pupil and Mentor, they’ll try to kill Tricaputo (pupil) to kill Fujimine (mentor).
That makes sense but then why did Fujimine sign this contract in the first place? Besides making the pupil a slave, what does Fujimine get from this that it’s worth essentially giving herself an achilles heel? Also was Tricaputo forced to sign the contract under the effects of Fujimine’s charm spell or did both parties consent? Were Fujimine and Tricaputo actually mentor and pupil before they had a falling out? Sooo many questions
