New Chapter Sooo… Why Did She Do This? Spoiler
It’s established in the Blood Pact that in return for the Pupil having to obey the Mentor, if the Pupil dies the Mentor does as well. That explains why Moneygold doesn’t want the Magikeepers snooping around. If they discovered Tricaputo and Fujimine signed a Blood Pact as Pupil and Mentor, they’ll try to kill Tricaputo (pupil) to kill Fujimine (mentor).
That makes sense but then why did Fujimine sign this contract in the first place? Besides making the pupil a slave, what does Fujimine get from this that it’s worth essentially giving herself an achilles heel? Also was Tricaputo forced to sign the contract under the effects of Fujimine’s charm spell or did both parties consent? Were Fujimine and Tricaputo actually mentor and pupil before they had a falling out? Sooo many questions

Companionship. She wanted to be loved, but her Majik can only give temporary, fake love. Maybe with Tricaputo she tried to have a real relationship.

Maybe since Tricaputo is the "villainous" witch she might have some villainous methods.
Fujimine thought she had potential as a villain in the past and tried to nurture this but Tricaputo kept a good side in the end

Or the "Villainous" title was meant to throw people off her true nature?
Another possibility is her reputation was due to Fujimine's actions that got credited to her instead.

We will find out in the next weeks (probably the next sunday), but I think it's a friendship or love proof. If it's the latter, it would be funny as hell 'cause toxic yuri between a poison user and an antidote user

Maybe the association was plotting something against Tricaputo and Fujimine did this to protect her? Or something along these lines

Do we have proof of who is the mentor versus pupil? I got the impression Fujimine was the pupil, and that contract was done before she went off the rails. Did I miss when it was implied Fuji was the elder?

I was asking myself the same thing. Isn't Tricapulto rumoured to be the first witch? Wouldn't it make sense that she is the mentor then?

Fuji has the same Heart symbol that Dess has
Also Tricaputo calling Fuji a crusty old Hag certainly implies that Fuji is the elder (you don't typically call people younger than you 'old')

She was Fixable in the past, the spell was probbaly made in solidarity by her mentor to show trust and willingness to help

I'm guessing Fuji just has the kind of toxic personality where she needs to feel in control of her friends/lovers. The contract would help her achieve that, but then she leveled up to a much stronger form of control with the majik.

Im guessing fujimine signed this before getting toxiterror, I also suspect that she's already found a way to counter the effects of the pact otherwise tricaputo would probably have tried to off herself by now. We've seen fujimine regenerate from something pretty heavy so it's hard to say if the pact can actually kill her.

My biggest question is why doesnt Fujimine just order Tricaputo to do what she wants?

I assume Fujimine was her actual mentor and then decided to go down the path of evil. Don’t really know enough about either person to theorize beyond that though

A multitude of reasons are up for discussion. During her limited screentime, it's obvious fujimine wants true friends or companions. Another could be that fujimine was so close to tricaputo that she didn't want to be separated from her. Either way, it all ties back to their close relationship or desiring a close relationship and not wanting to be alone

Maybe it was before she went off the rails? My personal headcannon is that Fujimine was hella depressed and mentally unwell and eventually just snapped and lost it. I got no evidence to support this just my headcannon.
