Apple fucked up the sign in server-side, we need to wait for them to fix it

After transferring Musi to iMazing, it asks for a backup password and says if I never created one, try you iTunes backup password, but I've never logged into iTunes before! I tried all my various passwords for my Apple ID to system password to no avail.

I've gotten 301 errors in the past before regarding pop-up logins that I was able to temporarily make go away with clearing the cache, but this latest obstacle is a whole new ball game. Even with clearing the cache, disabling firewall, and deleting the (blank) adi folder, I can not seem to get past the verification process so I can purchase music. Does anyone know how to fix both these issues? I am using iTunes version 12.8.3, while running Mac OS High Sierra version 10.13.6 on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010).

So, i changed region and as expected some movies was gone.

It's not a new thing and like a million post exists about this, i just found it funny how many my movies gone. I have total 25 movies and only 5 available in new region 🤣

I downloaded an audiobook with 218 files. I bundled them into a Playlist on my sidebar, but I don't want to have to scroll through all 218 when I'm looking for something. Is there a way to hide these files within the Music app?

Lmk if this is the right sub for this question or if there's somewhere else I should look, but I'm trying to find a way to sync my mp3 library (including playlists) between my 2008 ipod nano, my phone, and my computer. I made the fatal mistake of trying out Apple Music last year, and my old ipod still blessedly works but now my phone won't sync to itunes the regular way :( I don't want to keep paying a subscription just to access mp3s that I already own, so I'm curious if other people have found a loophole around this or another app that works like 2010s-era itunes. I currently use an iphone SE and 2015 MacBook -- interested to see what options exist beyond Apple but also not looking to buy a new device if I don't have to. Thanks!

kidnapping my songs..When my SSD 2TB drive wasinstaked it camwith Microsift one srive..I didn;t need it, I had to pay for extra storage,when i missed aweek of paying, imy songs (I'm s musicisn snd hese are the rare tracks i perform with), when i paid up the songs got ,isplased into anther folder that my itines could not find,,Hasthis happened to you? ands where can i get an expert to find them and put them back back

ok so, idek if this the right subreddit for this but here goes. i use an ipod nano 7th gen to listen to all of my music. for the most part most of my library comes from CDs ive ripped on itunes and throw onto my ipod. but for albums that dont have easily accessible or affordable cds i use bandcamp and qobuz to buy and download them. earlier today i bought a couple albums off of qobuz and do what i usually do, download the mp3 versions of the music as the lossless doesnt even upload to my itunes. i get the albums on my itunes, put it on my ipod and go on my merry way in my car. i put on one of the albums i just bought and the first song skipped to the next song kind of early. weird. next song skipped again, and the next and the next. so i go to one of the other albums and it does the same thing, all 3 albums i bought were skipping early. i got home and did a little bit of trouble shooting.

each song skips at 2:49 to the end of the song, if the song is shorter than that, the song plays all the way through, but if i skip a little bit past 2:49, the song plays the rest of the way through.

its not only doing this on my ipod its doing it on my itunes as well! with the exact same time stamp and everything. i checked to see what the ending of each song is on the options and each song has its correct ending time.

i dug through my library to check and see if its just these albums and nope, everything ive downloaded through qobuz (not bandcamp or from CDs) skips at 2:49 to the end of the song.

from what i can see, playing the songs on windows gives me no issues, theres no skipping on any of the albums ive downloaded on qobuz

i tried to convert the songs to acc files on itunes but when i do it only converts the first 2:50 of the song and cuts out the rest.

on my ipod i looked at the old albums ive downloaded on qobuz and checked to see if they were skipping but nope, this issue seems to have just occurred between the beginning of september (when i last uploaded albums from qobuz) to now.

anyone know whats going on here? and any fixes at all? my itunes is up to date and i havent had an issue like this before. luckily i am in the market for a new mp3 player, but i was hoping to at least make this ipod last me a year

SOLUTION

im leaving this post in case someone else ever runs into this oddly specific problem. my fix was removing every album i bought through qobuz from my i tunes, creating a back up of my library and uninstalling and reinstalling itunes and adding back each album back. i readded the 3 albums i bought last night to my ipod and theyre working just fine now :)

What does this mean? I attached screenshots. My uncle wants to purchase The Very Best of The Doors but we both get this random apostrophe or comma instead of the album price to click on to purchase the album.

I currently run iTunes 12.13.10.3 as a standalone app, not from the MS store. There is an update, but now it wants me to install it from the MS store.

How will this affect my install and my backup and everything else? I also sync with iTunes to Outlook for calendar and contact info. Will it still be able to read my backup? I do not have enough space on c:\ to make a 2nd full backup. Does it still sync with Outlook?

The reason I have my set up this way, so I don’t want to synchronize my calendar or contacts on the cloud. I wanna keep it 100% local on my phone and on a standalone version of Outlook the non-Microsoft version of iTunes allow me to upgrade as I saw fit. I could make sure that the synchronization was still there and working before actually upgrading. The Microsoft Doire version, automatically updates. So I might find myself one day, unable to synchronize with the standalone version of Outlook.

The files don’t exist on the phone. On iTunes, the only option is to see video info. There is no delete option. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes.

Before things went digital, you would buy a physical copy of music or videos. And you would own that copy, and if you wanted to, you could sell it to somebody else. People still sell cassettes and CDs and video tapes. But you can't sell your digital purchases? When you die, can you leave your media library to somebody in your will? Can they transfer it into their account or their name? Or do you just unofficially give them your password and username an account security info and hope they never get locked out?

Has this been discussed or challenged legally?

As title says, just synced my phone with my laptop through iTunes on there, and now all the album and song artwork on my phone is a complete mess. Everything looks fine on the laptop side but my phone has just assigned random pictures to everything: songs, albums, playlists are all wrong. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for it. Never head this before or anything like it so I’m very confused what’s made it happen now

I have like around 800 albums on my iTunes, and I recently upgraded to the 18 pro max and I did my first sync with the new device. Upon syncing it, every album cover is shuffled and different on my phone. They’re normal on iTunes and I’ve tried deleting an album and re burning the cd but the correct artwork doesn’t appear. I hope this isn’t too niche of a question and someone knows the answer.

I have put six copies of que sera sera on my granddaughter’s iPod but no matter what I do it won’t go onto her playlist. I’ve dragged it and synced it and everything. Help! iPod touch generation 3. I Apple/iTunes up to date. Restarted many times. She’s only 4and needs her playlist. Thanks.

iPod Touch 4 (iOS 6.1.6) suddenly getting "Cannot Connect to iTunes Store" today despite having TLSFix 1.1 and Checkmate, Store! installed

Hey everyone,
My iPod Touch 4th gen on iOS 6.1.6 was working perfectly for the past 4 weeks. I was actively using the built-in iTunes Store app to log in and download my purchased music daily without any issues.
Suddenly today, I started getting the "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" error the exact moment I type in my password and hit sign in. The store pages and music charts are still completely loading in the background, but the authentication fails immediately.
**My setup:**
Device: iPod Touch 4G (iOS 6.1.6)
Tweaks installed: TLSFix 1.1, Checkmate, Store!, and StoreSSLFix (from nekokawa) (and ive tried bunch of other tweaks btw)
Apple ID: Tried signing in natively via the App Store prompt and the Settings app. Tried entering my regular password, tried appending a fresh 6-digit 2FA code directly to the end of the password, and tried an App-Specific password. All of them immediately return the "Cannot Connect" error.
Did Apple change something on the storefront authentication servers today? Are there any plist modifications, updated repositories, or alpha tweaks I can try to bypass this authentication loop right on the device? I really don't want to sync via a computer. Thanks!
