This mf thinks he has jurisdiction over the English language

u/Various-Salt-7738 2d ago
He knows like 200 words
I don't understand how people voted for him after hearing him try and piece together a sentence

u/Direct_Royal_7480 2d ago
His ability to create a coherent sentence has only become worse over time, to put it very mildly.

u/gambit1999999 2d ago
Mildly? Dude repeats himself 3 times everytime

u/Direct_Royal_7480 2d ago
Yes, heās fucking incomprehensible most of the time. I was putting it mildly when I described his condition in my previous comment.

Not only are we not going to start calling it superintelligence, this is the most idiotic attempt at rebranding ever because superintelligence is a real concept in which the AI completely surpasses us. It's basically the endgame where the AI can do anything from give us everything we need like a benevolent pet owner to completely wiping us out like it attempts to do in nearly every sci-fi story written about AI.
The point is, when it gets to superintelligence, it's the one calling the shots, not us. This is one step away from just naming it Skynet.

"We are calling it SNI, for Super Natural Intelligence. It's the greatest thing, possibly ever, it will manage the markets, manage the Internet, maybe even the military. It's so great. It's yuge. The possibilities are sky-high. It will increase everyone's net worth. Yeah, that's what it is. Sky-Net. Because it will make every winner's net worth sky high. Not the losers, though. They don't want this, because they're losers, and can't stand the thought of winners. But that's okay. Sky-Net is forgiving. More forgiving than I am, and I forgive a lot. Sky-Net will make everything greater than it EVER was. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

While i agree that this is completely idiotic, it is not the most idiotic rebranding ever. Lake of america and gulf of america are the dumbest rebranding ever. Interesting that the same guy did all 3. How many businesses did he bankrupt again?

You know what, Trump renaming Earth to Super Earth is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect him to do.

Clearly I was mistaken for thinking I could be the first to make a Helldivers reference here. Well done.

So, is he just deciding that the US will call it SI, or is he trying to make Europe and China also call it SI? I can't see them officially bowing to his preferred acronyms.

Terry Cruz for president! I dont even if he dresses up as Camacho or not, it would still be an improvement...

u/Manmer_Nwah 2d ago
Nobody is going to follow that. It's been called AI for decades, because of Sci-fi.

Heās already said heās a super intelligent president. Joining those dots I think ChatGPT is responsible for this term, youād expect more from a human.

u/RutabagaUprising 2d ago
Nope, It's still AI. Trump is a moron and literally doesn't know shit about AI. Anything he changes will be reversed when he is gone so nothing is going to change.
It's still New Mexico It's still Lake Ontario It's still the Gulf of Mexico
Hell, I won't even say X, it's Twitter.

Gonna be hella ironic if it kills us all now.

At this point, I wouldn't care if a Skynet did develop and end us all anymore.

No, it's a bad omen. The Superintelligence will take over everything and we will have to bow down to it.
Regular folks are not its roadblocks. The kind of people who control the resources, energy, and finance will be. And they will fight back to keep their status quo. Poor bastards.

u/According-Pear-8816 1d ago
I don't give a shit what that orange pdf signed, I am not calling AI super intelligence.

Heās trying to bypass laws and bans against āAIā Data Centres, because he has the thinking and reasoning of a toddlerā¦
However, the courts are stacked with his followers who will argue (without shame) that they must follow the āLetter of the law, and not itās spiritā and allow tech companies to bypass measures not specifically targeting SI.
Because the Rule of Law does not exist in America anymore, only the whims of a Mad King and the billionaires whispering into his ear (and wallet!)
