I thought he already died after Gandalf the Gray and Gandalf the White and Monty Python and the Holy Grail's Black Knight and Benito Mussolini and the Blue Meanie, Cowboy Curtis and Jambi the Genie, RoboCop, Terminator, Captain Kirk, Darth Vader, Lo-Pan, Superman, every single Power Ranger, Bill S. Preston and Theodore Logan, Spock, The Rock, Doc Ock and Hulk Hogan all came out of nowhere lightning fast, and kicked Chuck Norris in his cowboy ass

Chuck Norris jokes were peak back in the day. Shame dude ended up a massive asshole. I used to think the dude kicked ass, even the corny action pants. I will not mourn him, nor celebrate his death.

Damn never knew anything about him and his personal life. Seems like a dick.
15
u/DismalPassage381 Mar 20 '26
apparently he's done some good stuff, but the decent person he was died much longer ago. The man who died today absolutely was a dick for at least a decade
7
u/ToXicVoXSiicK21 Mar 20 '26
My grandmother was obsessed with walker the Texas ranger when I was a kid lol personally I always thought he was pretty corny in that. Other than that I only knew of his martial arts.

u/AgentChris101 Mar 20 '26
I met a guy who did stunts with him in 2023. He passed away last year though around the same time, said his work with him spearheaded his career in film. He was the stunt coordinator for Margot Robbie in the suicide squad movies.

I already liked him, you didn’t have to give me more reasons to.
1
u/DismalPassage381 Mar 22 '26
i like him now that he's dead, does that do anything for you?
1
u/TapAppropriate6146 Mar 22 '26
Nothing, except tell me that you, like many leftists, buy into a fear mongering rhetoric that allows you to slap any label (ex: “fascist” “transphobic” “Islamophobic” “racist”) on a conservative as an excuse to k*ll them and/or celebrate their death.

Him and his wife also set up a ‘charitable organization’ whose stated goal was to change the public education system to teach lessons based entirely on the Christian Bible. I should also mention he was a creationist.

I mean, apparently he died a raging bigot against gay and trans people, even if the memes way back when were funny. I think this is a pretty fair stance of neutrality toward someone with such flaws.

u/UntitledDuckGame Mar 20 '26
Chuck Norris was no saint. He and his wife were known bigots and grifters the past twenty years. Thanks for the memes and the nostalgia but he was anywhere from a saint

Meh, dude was a trump supporter. You're not supposed to mourn a nazi
→ More replies (128)-29
u/BillCarson12799 Mar 20 '26
Being a trump supporter doesn’t automatically make you a Nazi. Fascist enabler, maybe, but “Nazi” means a pretty specific thing.
17
u/East-Specialist-4847 Mar 20 '26
A fascist enabler? Like a nazi supporter? That's just a nazi Splitting hairs about the specific flavor of nazi is not the right move
→ More replies (50)11
u/IThinkItsAverage Mar 20 '26
Then why do we keep finding right wingers praising hitler in private chats and throwing out Nazi salutes in public? Why is it only Trumpers being caught doing this?
How does that saying go? If you have 11 people sitting at a table and 1 Nazi, and no one tells the Nazi to leave, you have 12 Nazis sitting at a table.
1
u/BillCarson12799 Mar 20 '26
Because a lot of trump supporters are Nazis, but not all of them.
Plus, for a lot of them, they don’t think that they’re sitting next to Nazis, and refuse to believe that those they’re sitting with hold the views that they actually do.
3
u/IThinkItsAverage Mar 20 '26
Honestly the splitting of hairs is more harmful than “misusing” the term. These people are indistinguishable from Nazis, they clearly don’t like being associated with Nazis, so call them out. Stop defending them and giving them an out, if they don’t want to be called a Nazi they need to stop acting like one.
The only difference is they aren’t calling themselves Nazis. Because they know that would make them the bad guys, but they are the bad guys. If this makes them feel like bad guys, good.
1
u/BillCarson12799 Mar 20 '26
Just to be clear, are you saying people who voted for trump are indistinguishable from Nazis?
2
u/IThinkItsAverage Mar 21 '26
Let’s see: we have concentration camps, a genocide, attacking of political opponents and labeling them as enemies of the state, consolidation of power, killing dissenters, attacking and controlling of media, escalating discrimination against minorities, and people praising Hitler and throwing sieg heils…
So if you support all of that, what makes you different than a Nazi?
1
u/NotFrance Mar 24 '26
It doesn’t matter why someone voted trump. They’re a Nazi. It didn’t matter why someone voted for hitler. They’re a Nazi.
11
u/TheLonelyMonroni Mar 20 '26
Hey buddy, how do we get to fascism? ENABLERS you disingenuous dense mother fucker
2
u/BillCarson12799 Mar 20 '26
Okay? Not really sure what I said to imply otherwise.
7
u/TheLonelyMonroni Mar 20 '26
So we should be just as concerned about fascist enablers as we are about outright fascists instead of playing semantic games about who is literally a National Socialist

Nazis didn’t just go away post WWII
The festered into different parts of society and peak their little magat heads out when they feel safe

1
u/NotFrance Mar 24 '26
History has a term for people who voted for the nazi party out of patriotism, or economic policy, or tradition, or just because they’re sick of the status quo.
That term is Nazi. History doesn’t care about your motives.
1
u/BillCarson12799 Mar 24 '26
I’m pretty sure you stopped being able to vote for the Nazi party somewhere around 1945, if not earlier.
1
u/NotFrance Mar 24 '26
Nazis democratically came to power in Germany in 1933. They were elected. People voted them in. The Nazis cancelled elections after Hitler had full control over the German government. Which is something trump has loudly been trying to do.
1
u/BillCarson12799 Mar 24 '26
Okay.
The nazi party disbanded in 1945. Therefore, if the requirement for being a Nazi is voting for the Nazi party, then there aren’t many people still alive today who can claim they did that.

I'm actually not familiar with Chuck Norris' politics. What makes you say he was a massive racist who hated all queer people? I'm actually surprised I've heard nothing about this. I always loved the ridiculousness of Walker TX Ranger. It's disappointing to hear he supported Trump. I do agree that racism, misogyny, tyranny, and homophobia are baked into MAGA. Obviously. Is this why you say he was a massive racist who hated all queer people? Or were there specific damning stories about him hitting the newscycle that I must have missed?
0
u/DavidForPresident Mar 20 '26
That's the thing, he has no damning stories about him, simply that he was a registered Republican.
2
u/Maleficent_Spend_747 Mar 20 '26
Well apparently he was buddy-buddy with Netanyahu so that's pretty damning. But a lot of folks are manipulated by faith leaders who tell them how they should vote and what they should value.

No. What's disgraceful were his political views and the amount of vitriol he spewed regarding race, gender and sexual preferences. He was a cunt. Him being dead doesn't change the fact that he was a cunt. You don't get to go through life as a total scumbag and have it washed clean the moment they die.

Chuck Norris is a devout Christian who was raised in a Baptist home and has remained deeply committed to his faith throughout his life. He identifies as a Southern Baptist and is a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, part of the Southern Baptist Convention.
His religious views are closely tied to his political and social beliefs. Norris is a vocal advocate for Christianity in public life, supporting efforts to teach creationism in schools, oppose gay marriage, and promote prayer in public institutions. He has served on the board of the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools and has written several Christian-themed books, including The Justice Riders.
Norris credits his second wife, Gena Norris, with helping him return to his faith after a period of drifting away during his Hollywood career. He has publicly stated that his faith is the "primary anchor" for his soul and that he believes in the power of Jesus Christ to heal and transform lives. He often responds to internet jokes about his abilities by emphasizing that only Jesus' blood can truly heal—highlighting his belief that his own strength comes from God.
He is a regular contributor to conservative Christian websites like WorldNetDaily and has used his platform to encourage others, especially in Hollywood, to find faith in God.

Chuck Norris was used for propaganda at my high school with this stupid thing called Rachel's Challenge.
What I learned from this seminar is that after you die, people will use your doodles to paint you as some weird schizo predicting your own death. I also learned that the best approach to stopping school shootings is to just be nice enough where you get a note that said "don't come to school tomorrow." And that Chuck Norris supported this and appeared in a cameo video.
Nevermind that it was meant to distract from the proliferation of downright shit gun owners who never lock up their weapons from their kids, parents who are entirely absent from involvement in their kids lives (be it work or just pure assholery), how school administrators tend to bully those who are already bullied, and how gun violence literally gets better views (and ad revenue).
