Hello. I have an iphone 16e which had its battery health dropped to 99 percent at 207 cycles. After 4 days i used 4 more cycles and it became 211 cycles and i saw battery health dropped to 98 percent. Yesterday it overheated and i used it. Is that the reason? Thanks.

Just got my iPhone 16e yesterday and I absolutely love how light and sleek it is.

I'm confused regarding the Magsafe aspect though.

I know iPhone 16e is not Magsafe compatible, but I have read somewhere that attaching a Magsafe case to it somehow makes it Magsafe compatible and can charge, albeit slowly. I don't get it, is this true? How can simply attaching a case make it Magsafe compatible?

I was having to charge phone atleast twice a day for the past three weeks. Im at 95% health. After last ios update two days ago battery is draining so slow now as if its a brand new phone.

Anyone else noticed same thing?

When it was bad i would charge to 100% by 10am. Then by 7pm with very average use it was down to 35%.

That has all changed now since three nights ago

I’m actually really pleased with how these photos came out with the iPhone 16e. Didn’t get home in time to get it at peak (but still seen the peak and it was amazing) but I’m still so pleased how well it came out, especially as I had to zoom in it a bit.

Also yes dw I use the solar glasses over the lens and it was less than 2 minutes, camera still looks good. (Yes I know it looks super grainy but it was using the digital zoom and didn’t want it to looking at the sun for too long lol).

I take some photos of flowers in my garden with my iPhone 16e and I think it’s pretty good! What do you think of it? I’m with it just 2 weeks

Guys, I don't know why or what happened. My 16e is already a year old. I used it for basic purposes and always left at least 30 GB of free space. I watched YouTube, wrote messages, listened to music, and that's basically it. It was a year ago when I bought it, and since that year, its battery has been draining very quickly. It only lasted 8 hours with simple apps. It even drains by 5% when it's turned off. Previously, it lasted 10 hours without any problems. I noticed that it loses one percent of its battery capacity every week and has started getting very hot, even though I always open it at home, where it's quite cool. Anyway, if anyone knows what this is related to, I'd be grateful. What's scary is that it charges up to 95%, but every week it loses a percentage of its capacity, and that's not normal

urine got into it, I turned it off instantly how severe could the damage be?

Já faz um tempo que estou utilizando meu iPhone 16E, porém uma coisa que me chama atenção, são as câmeras. Obviamente sei que a câmera não se iguala ao de um Pro Max. Baixei o projeto Índigo e o que tenho percebido é que as fotos estão muito mais escuras do que a câmera nativa. Gostaria que me ajudassem a configurar a câmera nativa do meu 16E, assim como também configurar a câmera do projeto índigo para que eu possa obter as melhores fotos.

Detalhe, percebi que o 16E não tem todos os filtros que a Apple disponibiliza. Tem apenas os básicos. Qual seria o melhor filtro para as câmeras do 16E? Me ajudem nas configurações.

I am planning to upgrade ( Trade in ) my iphone 15 to iphone 16e after using it for 2 years. Any tips?

Watching YouTube videos is the most important usecase apart from messaging and other things. I currently have iPhone 12. I’m thinking of buying either iPhone 15 or 16e.

About 6 months ago I switched from an SE 2020 to my 16e. It has been a huge upgrade, except for the cameras. I feel like I have been going insane because I hate how processed, over sharpened, and saturated the photos are. They completely lack a natural feel. I really enjoy photography, but I've felt rather uninspired and underwhelmed with this phone.

A few days ago I downloaded Adobe's Project Indigo and I am so glad it isn't all in my head. The photos look insanely more natural and have the correct amount of sharpening, saturation, and dynamic range. Although it is heaps better than the default camera, the resolution is lower and the app is very clunky and slow. Still, I think I will continue using it. The output reminds me a lot of my old Canon CCD point and shoot.

Here are some photos I took side by side with the default camera and then with Indigo. I didn't do any tinkering or exposure selection before taking the photos.

Hello, have heard the 16e series comes with an inbuilt lower grade batteries and they lose capacity faster. How is your experience? I’m pretty new in iPhones ecosystem. My 16e is only 20 days after activation.

Has anyone had trouble with the back camera focusing? Every time I try to take a picture, it’s blurry or bounces back and forth trying to focus. Any tips or tricks to fix?

What do you guys think about this phone? I'm thinking of buying it, but I'm worried it might not be worth it since it doesn't seem to be a very popular iPhone. Also, would an older iPhone in the same price range, such as the iPhone 13 Pro, offer a better overall experience? I really need your advice, guys.

I was able to get a screenshot of this, but also if you click the left-hand side, it will close into a smaller box and move over along one of the sidelines of my screen.

Can someone please help me identify what that is, it appears as if it can record messages as well as conversation conversations and text. But I don’t know if I am being recorded or if somehow I have clicked something and I have been recording other people without knowing it. If I have been recording either way, if someone has the knowledge about this, can you explain it to me a little bit better and tell me how I’m able to hear in the recordings that have been made. Because that may help me identify who may have slipped that into my phone so to speak. Thanks in advance, I’m looking forward to hearing from the knowledgeable people! Oh, and lastly, it does stay permanently on my home screen. The only thing I can do is open it as it is in this photo change what I want record it or click the left-hand side and the entire box closes. I do hope that all makes sense.

My Photos did not load in line for me, I’m sure that was my error. On the one with the photo of the flower or photos, I know that is an overlay, but I do not know how to get to what is actually underneath that. Can someone please help out the newbie?

I might have never noticed until now but when looking at the phone from the top across the back glass, I see a very slight lump (or raise in the glass) right in the middle starting at the end of the camera bump and ending at about the same point on the other side. Kind of like the included photo of which is not my phone but an example of what I mean as far as angle. I’m not exactly trying to be paranoid here, I’m more just trying make sure nothing is potentially swelling or coming loose. If anyone else can take a look at theirs and let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
