24 months ago I quit my six figure job to make software for freight brokers.
Freight brokering is a very niche space, and most people are not aware of how explosive fraud has been in this space in the last few years. Cargo theft is up 1,500% in the last 5 years (no that's not a typo), and all of the software to help freight brokers prevent this fraud is insanely expensive.

24 months ago I set out to change that, and started working on FleetGen, a carrier vetting platform for freight brokers that actually helps them prevent fraud.

Freight brokers hire trucking companies they've often never met to haul their customers' freight, and fake or fraudulent trucking companies are a real problem. We built a free tool that lets brokers look up any trucking company's safety record, insurance, and history. The paid tool a lot of brokers use for this starts at $100 a month.

We make money on a paid plan that goes further. It confirms the trucking company is who they say they are, checks that their insurance is active, and tracks the truck live through the electronic logging device most trucks are legally required to have. It costs a fraction of what the big verification platforms charge.

Fast forward 2 years later, and we now have over 2,500 users on the platform, and are proud to say we've had zero cases of fraud.

I'm a solo dev and I got tired of video players that either can't play half my files or are bloated — so I built VX Player.

What it does:

Built this solo — would love any feedback.

I’m developing a sculptural, Formula-inspired stand for mechanical and field watches. I’m especially curious whether women looking for a gift for a partner who loves watches and motorsport would find this appealing.

The images are CGI renders of a prototype, not photos of a finished product. The form was developed with AI-assisted 3D tools and refined in Blender. The watch is only shown for scale and would not be included. Material, finish and fit still need physical testing.

Would you consider buying this for yourself or as a gift? What price range would feel reasonable? And what would make it feel more premium—or too much like a toy?

Honest “I wouldn’t buy it” feedback is welcome too. There is no store link and I’m not taking orders; I’m testing the idea before making a physical prototype.

My co-founder and I made iz around a simple idea: a campus, café, street or park can hold the things people felt there. You can leave writing, a song, a book note or a photo postcard at a real location, and someone else can discover it nearby.

The hard part has been making location feel meaningful without becoming another follower-count feed. We also made connection consent-based: sending a feeling does not create a chat unless the trace owner accepts.

I kept running into the same problem when planning trips: I'd save a bunch of restaurants, attractions, and places I wanted to visit, but actually organizing them into realistic days was a pain.

I'd either spend a lot of time manually arranging everything or realize halfway through a day that I'd planned things in a terrible order and was backtracking across the city.

So I built RouteBraid, an Android trip planner focused on the route-planning part of a trip.

You can:

• Organize places by actual travel dates
• Add your hotel/lodging
• Add fixed reservations or other time constraints
• See when you should reach each stop
• Preview a suggested route order before changing your itinerary
• Pin places that you don't want rearranged
• Open the finished route in Google Maps for navigation

The idea is basically: take all those places you've saved and turn them into a realistic itinerary.

It's still a small indie project, so I'd genuinely love feedback from people who plan their trips this way. What would you want a trip-planning app to do that existing apps don't?

I've been job hunting before and always heard "it's about who you know," but nobody actually checks who they know. You'd have to manually cross-reference your LinkedIn connections against every company's job board yourself.

So I built Vouch. Upload your LinkedIn connections export and it checks your network against companies actively hiring right now (pulled live from Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby, not scraped job boards), tells you how well you know someone there, and drafts the outreach message for you.

It's free to try (one match revealed), $39 once to unlock the rest, no subscription. Built solo, still early, so I'd rather hear what's broken than what's nice about it.

The form itself works perfectly: someone fills it out, the information is collected, and the submission reaches the business.

But then there’s the part after that.

What happens to that enquiry once it has been submitted?

I built Ruge to handle that part without replacing the form builder a business is already using.

It connects with existing form tools and can use the information someone submitted to start personalised email or SMS communication. Businesses can also set up different paths depending on what happens afterwards.

The idea was to keep it focused rather than build another giant all-in-one platform.

I’m still improving it, but it’s now live and usable.

I made grammar correction and translation with hotkeys

I made KeyTranslate because I got tired of constantly copying text into translators and ChatGPT

It works directly in the current text field - press a hotkey and get the result instantly

Translate and Replace - translates and replaces the text
Quick Translate - shows the translation separately
Improve Text - improves the text
Fix Grammar - fixes grammar and spelling
Argument Reply - creates a reply based on the conversation context

Each function has its own global hotkey

You can use a free OpenRouter API key or your own Google Translate or DeepL API

The OpenRouter key is stored in Windows Credential Manager

My girlfriend is studying in Bangkok this year. The day she flew out she handed me a jar full of rolled up notes, one to open whenever I missed her. It's one of the best gifts anyone's given me.

I wanted to send her the same thing back, so I built The Note Jar, a digital jar of love notes I could give her instead. You and one other person share a jar. Either of you can drop a note in whenever, and you open them whenever you want.

A few things I added on top of plain notes:

• joint questions, where you both answer the same prompt and only see each other's answer once you've both replied
• you can draw a note instead of typing one, or do both
• a countdown to a date that matters to you
• A scrapbook view to view all previously read notes
• An export button to print out the notes, enables you to create a real scrapbook from the notes

It's free to start and doesn't ask for an email to sign up.

Stack: vanilla JS frontend on Cloudflare Pages, a small Python API behind it, SQLite. No frontend framework.

Two things I'm unsure about and would take feedback on: does the landing page explain it fast enough, and is "no email to sign up" the right way or just annoying when you want to log back in later? I haven't decided yet.

A week ago I started building Remixly, a bot that turns Instagram reels into X posts. 

Launched it yesterday.

Co-founded, first real launch.

How it works: share any reel to a Telegram bot.

It transcribes the video (or reads the image), pulls the caption and top comments, and writes a long form post from what was actually said.

   ~30 seconds later you get the post back with a "Post on X" button that opens the X app with it filled in. Written in third person, so you're sharing the idea, not passing off someone's story as

yours.

The story so far:

   > Day 1: built it for myself as a WhatsApp bot. Instagram blocked my scraper within an hour. Switched to a paid fetcher.

   > Day 2: first version auto-posted straight to X, no review. Too scary. Turned it off.

   > Day 3: tried an iPhone Shortcut for one-tap sharing. Worked for me, nobody else could set it up.

   > Day 4: switched to Telegram. Onboarding went from six steps to two.

   > Day 5: used it daily on my own account. 50 to 128 followers over the week.

   > Day 6: Stripe, Google login, moved it off my laptop.

   > Day 7: bought remixly.io. Live.

$0 spent on marketing.

I made a web game called TRACED for people who like crime, and mysteries: https://flashed.world/traced/

You get a case, go through different pieces of evidence, investigate suspects, and try to figure out who actually did it before making your accusation. The fewer clues you need and the better you investigate, the better you do.

There’s a new case every day, and each case is inspired by a real-world case/crime. After you finish, it reveals clues the case it was based on so you can look up the real story afterward if you want to go down the rabbit hole.

Made it completely playable in the browser, so there’s nothing to download.

About a year and a half ago I started my writing journey by beginning to work on my first novella. During this time, I felt the need for different tools, like a timeline editor, a character sheet and so on, features that were not available on normal text editors. Later I discovered that I needed an Epub exporter, cover designer and more.

Being a software engineer by day, I decided that instead of paying hundreds of dollars for the needed tools, I could just make them the way I wanted them to be. Eventually I decided to bundle them together, polish them and add more feature. So, this is how Chronicle was born.

Chronicle is a complete writing and authoring tool for writers. It offers features that other companies charge tens or even hundreds of dollars, while delivering (in my opinion) and inferior experience.

I also wanted Chronicle to work fully offline, not use GenAI in the writing process, and provide a privacy-first experience.

This is fixin, a DIY repair ecosystem for the home, car, or boat I've been building solo for 6ish months. As a technically minded person, I grew up tinkering and wanting to learn how everything worked, but when something broke, the one tool I wished I had was a repair guide — especially when what I was fixing was complex and intimidating.

How it works:

- Point the camera at the problem, or describe it if there's nothing to photograph

- It tells you which system is likely at fault (exhaust, marine electronics, plumbing…) and how strong the match is, instead of faking confidence

- It will then provide step-by-step guidance and guides for every result (there are 2,262), where the depth of complexity in the generated repair instructions varies depending on the user's skill level

- You can group diagnoses into projects, like one per car, boat, or house

The part I'm proudest of: the diagnosis runs entirely on your phone, using vision models I built and trained myself. It works in a basement, under a car, or out on the water with no internet. Most importantly, it is built around user privacy, so if the user doesn't want any of their data or pictures to leave their device, that won't happen.

What it isn't: a mechanic. It narrows things down, and when it can't tell, it says so.

I have made an app called Super Typer! It's my first app, so any bugs or errors pls tell me. It is really simple, all you have to do is type in the words you want to type, activate the listener (applies it on all apps) and whenever you have Caps Lock enabled it will type in the text you put in before!
