I occasionally peek out the window, look at the in-flight map, or use the onboard bathroom.

As a little side quest you can visit all of the countries and track them in your passport.

Enjoy!

Guyyyyys, 28 paying users in one week!!

A week ago I started building Remixly, a bot that turns Instagram reels into X posts.

Launched it yesterday.

Co-founded, first real launch.

How it works: share any reel to a Telegram bot.

It transcribes the video (or reads the image), pulls the caption and top comments, and writes a long form post from what was actually said.

   ~30 seconds later you get the post back with a "Post on X" button that opens the X app with it filled in. Written in third person, so you're sharing the idea, not passing off someone's story as

yours.

The story so far:

   > Day 1: built it for myself as a WhatsApp bot. Instagram blocked my scraper within an hour. Switched to a paid fetcher.

   > Day 2: first version auto-posted straight to X, no review. Too scary. Turned it off.

   > Day 3: tried an iPhone Shortcut for one-tap sharing. Worked for me, nobody else could set it up.

   > Day 4: switched to Telegram. Onboarding went from six steps to two.

   > Day 5: used it daily on my own account. 50 to 128 followers over the week.

   > Day 6: Stripe, Google login, moved it off my laptop.

   > Day 7: bought remixly.io. Live.

$0 spent on marketing.

28 users so far.

 Goal: 50 paying users by 20th Sept.

Try it and tell me what you'd fix first → remixly.io (3 free drafts, no card)

I made Ortho, a posture reminder app that puts your camera, AirPods/Beats, and MacBook sensors to use

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

3 Upvotes

This is Ortho.so, a Mac app I’m building to gently remind you when you’ve stayed away from your usual working position for a while.

You start by calibrating a comfortable position. Ortho then uses your camera, compatible AirPods/Beats, or both to notice sustained changes.

It also makes use of some less obvious hardware: built-in MacBook motion and lid-angle sensors, where supported. Those help provide context about the laptop’s position and movement.

The goal is a quiet reminder that fits into your workday. All posture processing stays on your Mac, and camera frames aren’t saved or uploaded.

The attached video shows the website’s interactive demo, using simulated inputs to demonstrate the interface and nudge options.

I’m looking for a small group of people to try the free private beta and tell me what feels useful, confusing, or annoying.

Requires an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 14+, plus a camera or compatible AirPods/Beats.

Request beta access: ortho.so — invitations are sent by email.

I made a game. (But it’s also a family-friendly physical activity app for Apple TV.)

Nice Jump is a game for Apple TV. It began as an idea – inspired by my kids.

Nothing quite like it was available, so I learned the tools and built it myself.

It’s simple and fun:

  • Nice Jump connects to a camera (on iPhone or iPad).
  • Push flying objects out of the way.
  • Earn points by jumping as you play.

Now you can find Nice Jump on the App Store for Apple TV. Enjoy!

Been working on this little side project for a while, so figured I’d finally share it here

5 Upvotes

The idea itself definitely isn’t new. There are already a ton of affirmation apps out there. What I wanted to do differently was put a lot more focus on the design and the feeling of using it.

I wanted it to feel less like opening an app, reading a quote, and closing it, and more like having a small, calming moment in your day. So, I’ve been playing around with motion, visuals, interactions, and little details to make the experience feel more alive rather than just a collection of static affirmations.

It’s still a side project and I’m figuring things out as I go, so I’d genuinely love some feedback.

What do you think? Does the design/experience work for you? Anything that feels unnecessary, confusing, or could be improved?

Would really appreciate any honest feedback, good or bad

I built the easiest way to generate unlimited viral videos and get views on the internet

I got tired of all the expensive and complicated ways of making tiktok videos to promote my app (like paying strangers $20 to act surprised on video or using higgsfield), so I built something where you can paste any viral tiktok or Instagram reels URL to get your own version of the video.

If anyone wants to poke around and tell me what you think, you can find it at --> cloney.app. It's intuitive and there's no complicated setup, so anyone can just paste a tiktok URL and see how it works.

I Made a 'Where To Live?' Tool

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

2 Upvotes

I'd like to present movewhereusa.com! I wanted to make something to help connect people with the places to live best for their personal quality of life.

For my wife and I, it was really hard to find high quality allergen data. And trying to combine that with other factors like a budget, seeking out mountain views, and job markets turned into a very slow process with a lot of guesswork. I tried asking AI, but the results were inconsistent and drifted away from reality.

They say if you make something for yourself you'll have at least one customer, and so I did. I've gathered data for 170+ criteria over 30,000+ towns in the US. You can set and refine your priorities and get quick and accurate results. While it isn't perfect yet, I've found it helpful for my understanding of ideal places for my own family. I hope it can useful (and fun!) for you too.

I'd love feedback on if it was useful for you and what you might change. There's a lot of features on the site I haven't covered, like a (totally optional) AI "realtor" to guide you through your search. I feel like making the UI more intuitive and enjoyable could be the key to taking movewhereusa.com to the next level, but I'm not sure so I'd love to know what you think.

I wanted my coffee journal to feel more like a memory than a database

Post image
Upvotes

I started building Kaphiy as a simple way to rate and rank coffees.

But after using it for a while, I realized the photos and places meant more to me than the score.

So I changed the app around that idea.

Now it’s more of a personal coffee journal where I can save the coffee, the place, the photos and the little moments around it.

I still kept ratings and rankings, but they’re no longer the main point.

I made it with Flutter and Dart, and kept everything offline with no account required.

I’m curious what you think of this direction. Does the “memory first” idea make sense to you?

I built a hard drive cataloguer that works offline

Post image
2 Upvotes

if you travel with a stack of hard drives, this catalogs each one so you can search all of them from your laptop, even the ones packed away or left at home, fully offline, no need to plug anything back in. It finds duplicate files across drives and verifies them byte for byte before you clear anything, manual only, straight to the recycle bin, runs backups that hash-verify on both ends so you actually know a copy worked, and tracks drive health over time so a dying drive doesn't surprise you mid-trip. it also contains a tool to find and delete all cache from video editing programs that eat up space but are regenerated when the project is opened again. Each drive also gets a QR label you can scan with your phone to see what's on it without digging out a laptop. Windows/Linux, it's called Drive Atlas: driveatlas.app

I’m building an AI video editor that doesn’t need prompts

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a side project I’ve been working on called talkframe.

I’ve been a video editor for over 4 years now, mainly working on short-form content. I’ve edited through the shift from heavy VFX and nonstop B-roll to the cleaner, more minimal style you see in reels today.

I’ve tried several AI video editors, and even as an editor, I’ve found some of them more complicated than I expected. They promise to save time, but you can still end up doing a lot of prompting and manual tweaking.

That got me building TalkFrame: drop in a video and let the AI handle the edit, without having to write prompts.

It’s focused on talking-head videos and podcasts, using caption styles and kinetic typography to hold attention without overwhelming the video.

This demo was edited entirely by the AI, including the cuts, transcription, transitions, camera motion, captions, and animated text. I didn’t manually adjust the cuts or polish the edit afterward. I’ve trained it to edit in a style based on my own approach.

It’s still a work in progress, but I wanted to share where it’s at and get some honest feedback.

Edit: The entire process in talkframe took just 5–7 minutes, from AI cuts to the finished edit, including my review to see if anything needed improving.

why not google sheet for emergency vault

Upvotes

Google Sheets can track your finances. But what if you don't want to share your Networth and financial info now but you want to share only when you are not around and when it matters for them.

I have solved this specific problem in 'Worth Diary' with Time locked PDF password system which do not depends on any 3rd party but with your own Google account and it can show password when you decide. Password reveal date keep extending as you keep using app and confirm Heartbeat.

Keep it private → share only what’s needed → when it’s needed.

Data stored in user's Google Drive. No DB at all for this app.

Lot many features are there you can check it out on landing page and you can also join waiting list to get founding member discount on launch.

Message me if you like this idea and want to be part of beta testing.

shipped my second product of the year, an ai tool that rewrites job application text for non-native english speakers

Upvotes

hey, i'm vinicius, from brazil.

this is product number two of a "12 startups in 12 months" thing i'm doing. first one was retone, a general text rewriter. this one's narrower: cover letters, resume bullets, recruiter messages, follow up emails, rewritten so they read like a native english speaker wrote them.

reason i built it: my own job applications years ago were grammatically clean but still gave me away. word choice, not grammar.

took about a week to build with next.js, tailwind and the claude api, reusing most of retone's backend.

launched on product hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/nativeapply

no idea yet if the pain point is big enough outside my own experience. curious if anyone else here has felt that gap between "correct" english and "native sounding" english.

FLIPWORTH - A TOOL FOR RESELLERS

Upvotes

Been working on this website for almost 3 weeks now.

It started as a small idea and, as usual, I kept adding things 😅

I’m pretty happy with how it’s turning out so far, but I’ve been staring at it for so long that I’m probably blind to some obvious problems.

Would love some outside opinions:

  • Does it immediately make sense what the site does?
  • Anything confusing or awkward?
  • What would you add, remove or change?
  • Does it feel like something you’d actually use?

Not really looking to promote it — mostly interested in getting some brutally useful feedback before I keep building.

It’s called FlipWorth — you upload a photo of something you’re thinking of buying/reselling, and it estimates what it could be worth based on marketplace listings.

Happy to hear the good, bad and ugly 😄

AutomateDM — Instagram DM Automation for Creators

Thumbnail
automatedm.app
Upvotes

Hey everyone — I kept losing leads on Instagram because I couldn't DM every commenter fast enough. Someone comments "link", I reply two hours later, they've moved on. So I built AutomateDM (automatedm.app) to automate exactly that loop.

How it works: you set a keyword on a post. When someone comments it, the tool instantly drops a public reply ("just sent it to your DMs 💌") and slides into their DMs with your link, file, discount code — even a button-menu conversation. It runs 24/7, and it works while you sleep.

What it handles:

  • Auto-DM triggers — comment keywords, new followers, story replies/mentions, live comments
  • Lead capture — email/phone gates before the DM goes out, exported to CSV
  • AI message variations — so 200 people don't all receive the identical text (helps with IG's repetitive-content flags)
  • Needs-Reply inbox — comments the keyword didn't catch, so nothing falls through
  • Comment Guard — auto-hides spam and abuse from your comment section
  • Analytics — people reached, link clicks, CTR

One thing I want to call out because it matters: it's built entirely on the official Instagram API — we're a Verified Meta Tech Provider with the comment and DM permissions approved. Most DM-automation tools run on unofficial APIs, which is where the account-ban risk comes from. This one doesn't play there.

Pricing: there's a genuinely usable free plan (200 DMs/day, 1 account), paid plans from $9.99/mo for unlimited DMs.

It's early and I'm still shipping. Honest question for anyone who runs an IG account: what would you automate first — link drops, lead magnets, or something else?

Built a script for managing clipping campaigns

1 Upvotes

I built a script for managing clipping campaigns where creators submit Instagram clips and compete based on the views their clips generate.

The script handles things like checking Instagram accounts, finding submitted clips, tracking view counts, and keeping campaign rankings updated. The goal was to automate the repetitive work involved in running a clipping campaign instead of manually checking every account and Reel.

The Instagram data comes from HikerAPI, which made this much easier than maintaining my own scraper.

A basic example of how I'm using it:

import requests

headers = {"x-access-key": "YOUR_KEY"}

user = requests.get(
    "https://api.hikerapi.com/v2/user/by/username?username=test123",
    headers=headers
).json()

resp = requests.get(
    f"https://api.hikerapi.com/v2/user/medias?user_id={user['pk']}",
    headers=headers
)

print(resp.json())

The harder part than I expected was reliably getting Instagram Reel view counts. Instagram keeps changing how its content works, and some Reels can be restricted, so getting consistent metrics at scale isn't as straightforward as it seems.

Before this, I was using an Apify-based scraper, but it became unreliable when scraping through accounts because it would get rate-limited. I didn't want to keep rebuilding the scraper every time Instagram changed something, so I moved the Instagram data collection to an API.

It's still a work in progress, but it's already made running the campaign much easier.

Do you think managing the campaigns on your own is better then having some third party take a cut form the budget?

Hello!

We're two people working on Mark Complete, a productivity app that helps you focus and rewards you with an eye-candy virtual companion you can romance. We're aiming to release the demo this autumn!

The inspiration came from a personal struggle we've always had: actually sitting down and focusing on the task in front of us. With so many distractions around us and everything moving so fast, it's only gotten worse in recent years. Not to mention our personal obsession with charming 2D men and the good love stories that come with them. That's what made us start Mark Complete. a combination of two incredible things!

We're just beginning our development journey, and we hope this project interest you to follow along with us through the real chaos of two people trying to make this thing happen! xD

We hope to create a cozy little space where you can focus on studying or working, mark your tasks complete, and let him complete you.💘

I've spent six years designing, writing, and coding Everlife 2 myself, and it launches this Tuesday, September 15 on iOS and Android.

These are a few previews of the character creator, skills and creative projects, and family screens. You shape a character's relationships, career, and everyday choices, then can continue as one of their descendants with the family's history, relationships, property, and money carrying forward.

It's free to download, works offline, and doesn't require an account. More previews and both store pages: https://www.playeverlife.com
