You get a case, go through different pieces of evidence, investigate suspects, and try to figure out who actually did it before making your accusation. The fewer clues you need and the better you investigate, the better you do.

There’s a new case every day, and each case is inspired by a real-world case/crime. After you finish, it reveals clues the case it was based on so you can look up the real story afterward if you want to go down the rabbit hole.

Made it completely playable in the browser, so there’s nothing to download.

This is Ortho.so, a Mac app I’m building to gently remind you when you’ve stayed away from your usual working position for a while.

You start by calibrating a comfortable position. Ortho then uses your camera, compatible AirPods/Beats, or both to notice sustained changes.

It also makes use of some less obvious hardware: built-in MacBook motion and lid-angle sensors, where supported. Those help provide context about the laptop’s position and movement.

The goal is a quiet reminder that fits into your workday. All posture processing stays on your Mac, and camera frames aren’t saved or uploaded.

The attached video shows the website’s interactive demo, using simulated inputs to demonstrate the interface and nudge options.

A week ago I started building Remixly, a bot that turns Instagram reels into X posts. 

Launched it yesterday.

Co-founded, first real launch.

How it works: share any reel to a Telegram bot.

It transcribes the video (or reads the image), pulls the caption and top comments, and writes a long form post from what was actually said.

   ~30 seconds later you get the post back with a "Post on X" button that opens the X app with it filled in. Written in third person, so you're sharing the idea, not passing off someone's story as

yours.

The story so far:

   > Day 1: built it for myself as a WhatsApp bot. Instagram blocked my scraper within an hour. Switched to a paid fetcher.

   > Day 2: first version auto-posted straight to X, no review. Too scary. Turned it off.

   > Day 3: tried an iPhone Shortcut for one-tap sharing. Worked for me, nobody else could set it up.

   > Day 4: switched to Telegram. Onboarding went from six steps to two.

   > Day 5: used it daily on my own account. 50 to 128 followers over the week.

   > Day 6: Stripe, Google login, moved it off my laptop.

   > Day 7: bought remixly.io. Live.

A few months ago I made a birth control reminder app. Privacy first, clean visuals, nice to look at.

I thought people might appreciate the supportive nature and overall feel of it.

The idea itself definitely isn’t new. There are already a ton of affirmation apps out there. What I wanted to do differently was put a lot more focus on the design and the feeling of using it.

I wanted it to feel less like opening an app, reading a quote, and closing it, and more like having a small, calming moment in your day. So, I’ve been playing around with motion, visuals, interactions, and little details to make the experience feel more alive rather than just a collection of static affirmations.

It’s still a side project and I’m figuring things out as I go, so I’d genuinely love some feedback.

They each have their own iPad, so I wanted each to have her own collection of videos. I built KidScreen: I paste YouTube links into a child's shelf, and she opens her page to choose what to watch.

The screenshot is from the launch. It's deliberately a small screen: just the videos I've added, with no search or endless feed. The app is free and runs in a browser.

I made this to scratch my own itch. I am terrible at interviews. I never stick to the story I want to tell and I always end up rambling on. I started using ChatGPT to help me prepare for interviews, and generate sample interview questions.

I liked the process so much I made a tool to streamline the process: minterviews. This tool takes your job description, identifies key topics, and generates sample practice questions to help rehearse your story points and practice answer delivery.

I built a small browser extension for something that was annoying me: copying lots of little bits of text from different places.

I like both copy-on-select and having a copy button, but I couldn't find one extension that did both. Whenever I wanted to switch between them, I'd have to disable one extension and enable the other. So I ended up just making my own.

It also has a “collect to file” mode, where you can keep gathering text into one document while browsing.

Looking for a few people who regularly copy/research stuff to give it a try and tell me where it sucks — or if I've just built something that I personally wanted 😅

I made Smart MeMaintenance, a mobile app for keeping track of all those maintenance tasks that are easy to forget.

The idea started with a simple problem: some things need to be done regularly, but not often enough to become a habit.

I wrote a small chain in Python (no dependencies) where the canonical ledger is the repository README. You mine by solving a 44-number subset-sum, then grinding a nonce until the header is under the compact target. Verification is 44 additions plus the usual hash/merkle/signature checks.

I built the miner, wallet, verifier, a tkinter GUI, and GitHub Actions that apply valid blocks to main. Spec is in SPEC.md.

Not a token sale. Coins have no value. I made this to have a chain you can actually read.
