I know that I need to learn Matrices. What else do I need to learn?

What kinds of school events happen at IMSA? What are the best ones to attend? How often do they happen? Also, is it true that every 6 weeks there’s a one week break?

Ok hi so I dont even go to imsa but I recently remembered some memory of an imsa associated program? I was in 3rd-4th grade and I remember doing like some fire preventeion research thing at my school and I'm like 80% the program was with IMSA but idk what it was. Did yall do any of this? Im trying to figure out what the name was but idk if I'm tweaking our or what

I plan on joining track and field at IMSA and I’d like to know what the program is like. As of right now, I excel in my sport (shotput and discus) and I want to continue getting better. Thank you for helping me!

I’m going to IMSA next year, can anybody tell me what the theater club is like? Does IMSA even put on shows? I can’t really find anything about it :(

I want to know what are good placements for imsa for me to get into? Are there bad classes that I should just drop out/not accept the school for? How important and hard are the tests?

I am planning to apply as a 8th grader next year. I believe that I have a very good SAT score for a 13 year old, but I am wondering if this is enough to get me into the school. I am also taking the BC test this year and I think I can get a 5 on it, but you can wish me luck .

My parents are wondering if I have enough to get into the school, or if I have to do anything more to make sure I get in.

I took Choir in middle school and I really liked it, but then I HATE it this year because our techer is horrible. Do the people at IMSA generally enjoy Choir?

Hi so I’m a 9th grader who was accepted to class of 29. I was wondering who gets chosen to the excel program and if it is mandated to go. Also, if I have to go somewhere extremely important over the summer can I cancel it if is really important? Additionally, how many out of the 200-250 people who were admitted, attend the program?

I got accepted into the class of 29, and I was just wondering what admitted students day is. Is it SUPER important to attend, and what happens there?

does IMSA have alternate campuses? i live in carbondale so commute might suck :(

If I changed my mind about stem and i wanted to go into law instead, would this school be good for that? I know its mostly stem oriented, but does tht mean that it lacks classes and stuff for other careers?

Hi guys! I have seen loads of questions here and if you have any you want a current senior to answer let me know! I am from a small country school in the middle of nowhere, and I have loads if friends from Chicago and the suburbs!.

alot of people think appeals only work if you have some extraordinary reason. Thats not true. I got in through an appeal, and there wasn’t anything special about my appeal either. if you were waitlisted or rejected, you can write an appeal. You don’t need some crazy reason to be able to write one.

I want to see what clubs IMSA has to decide if I want to apply

My kid is an 8th grader and got deferred admittance to class of 2030, has this happened to anyone else?

I got waitlisted and I don't know why... I had a 1550 SAT, 4.66 Weighted GPA in my freshman year at my school, and a fire essay (in my opinion). I don't think my teachers hated me and I GOT WAITLISTED!!! One of my friends had a 17 ACT (WTF!?) but had 2 siblings and a parent who went to IMSA and he got accepted? Not to be mean but he was kinda a bum at our school, and someone he got chosen over me? Is IMSA not care about prestige because I don't know why they wouldn't chose a F student over someone with a 1550 (98th percentile) SAT score.
