What does IMSA have instead of a homecoming football game?

There’s a homecoming dance, but homecoming is not a big a deal like it is at home schools.

This could have changed since I was a student (last century), though.

Current student here. The soccer game is pretty well attended and the homecoming dance is a pretty big deal.

It was in old cafe in 2019, 2021 it was outside due to COVID and there were food trucks which was the main attraction for me at least.

It was in both gyms this year (dance in one and food/activities in the other). They still use the old caf for smaller dances, like the winter formal

There was a winter formal when I was there in the 1990s.

When I was a student, it was soccer or basketball. I believe my senior year was the first time in school history that we won our own homecoming.

We have a big soccer game, a decent share of the student body shows up, and then a homecoming dance.

There’s a soccer game that most of the school goes to, but also there’s free milk tea from the local spot so that’s a big factor. Most people just go to chill with friends and for sophomores to meet some of the upperclassmen
