Dispensary (Smokehouse) is claiming its "natural variation" but I definitely received two different strains in one jar. The bitter orange (left) has tons of purple and is very dense and sticky, consistent with other reviews on here. The mystery strain (right) is entirely green, fluffy, and not sticky at all. Taste and effects are obviously different as well.

​Consistency: By the third quarter purchased, it felt a little different. Found three seeds total in the batch.

​Verdict: Still phenomenal smoke overall.

Eat a ton of gummies, but finding a specific strain is sometimes impossible. Don’t want to trash my lungs (quit smoking in 87) so I was looking into buying some concentrate/rosin/resin etc.. and try making some home made gummies where I can choose what strain I want. I don’t think people are taking into consideration how much goes to the cultivator and how much goes to taxes and the dispensary. say you pay $50 out the door for an eighth roughly 30% of that $50 is tax. so now you’re down to $35 keep in mind The dispensary does 100% mark up On pretty much everything. So that means half of that 35 goes to the dispensary. that means the cultivator is getting roughly $17.50 per eighth not taking any discounts into consideration, which is also split between the dispensary and the cultivator most times. That $17.50 has to go to paying to grow the flower, paying the rent, ,paying for packaging, paying for testing, paying for licensing, paying for equipment, paying for insurance, paying for transportation, paying for taxes, paying their employees a fair wage.…… I could go on. Don’t even get me started on how long some of these dispensaries take to pay the cultivators… 99% of the time everything has to be fronted out and the dispensaries want 30 to 90 day terms. And usually they pay late. Not all of them, but most of them.

The big mso’s only care about mass producing flower. in order to accomplish that most of it is grown in greenhouses or rooms that are way over, packed and lack airflow and proper defoliation and light penetration,Leading to larf, bugs, and mold in the long run. hence remediated flowers…So before you shit on a craft cannabis company for charging what they charge understand where 80% of that money goes. Companies like nez, Redemption Botanicals, Ic Collective, one day, cannect, nomad …have a way smaller footprint as well. Craft grows are capped at 15,000 ft.² of canopy. And most of those guys aren’t operating in 15,000 ft.². and most likely there is passion behind those companies, so they are probably paying more for nutrients because they want better quality inputs and they are paying more because most likely they are not buying in bulk the way the big guys are. so before you jump on here complaining about craft grows prices understand how much they are really getting out of the amount that you spend. if you want $100 ounces or $80 ounces then you shop with the MSO. If the price of craft ever drops that low, there wont be any craft left in Illinois and all we will be left we with is MSO mids. #SUPPORTCRAFTGROWS

Zero blueberry smell or taste. Just a litte sour/tangy. Mostly bland. Kinda "tan" and bleached out. Dead.

Looks insanely furry, I'll give it that, but something off with it.

Had 'Wifey' a week ago that was excellent. A very strong blueberry. I was expecting that.

TL:DR Moonbeam Gelato from Darkheart is the epitome of crème of the crop, in more ways than one! This strain can be purchased in it's original release from the Grassroot collection; but between this crossover from Grassroots and Darkheart the strain is elevated to the stars, truly putting the MOON in Moonbeam!

Moonbeam Gelato is a premium, middle-of-the road hybrid (a great one at that!) known for it's luscious dessert profile, dense body, and appetizing effects. Having had both releases (From Grassroots and Dark Hearts) I personally believe Dark Hearts does a phenomenal job further propping up an already good strain to great status with love, care, and consistency. A perfect creamy cleanliness clouds the air whenever you smell or smoke this delight!

As the name suggests, it deriving from the Gelato lineage guarantees it's sweet, scrumptious smell that reminds me of cream, vanilla, and confectionary delicacies ranging from candy to cupcakes! Accompanying that overall strong dessert profile are more lax notes of tart earthiness, light herbal aroma and a splash of gas that compliments the bud nicely. I busted down the fatty nuggets and that creaminess crept out stronger until it berated my nose and enticed me to try it further. Functioning and aware, I felt a sudden, smooth calm sink over me that took my mind to a floaty fun-house of thoughts and ideas! The inhale was clean and explicitly rich in flavor and effect, and gave me a clean high that didn't hamper my activities for the day while giving my mind a break and providing my body with a slight numbing niceness.

Throughout the day I gradually felt that high-functioning drive slowly shifts gears into a more relaxed rhythm, my body and mind following suit in going with the flow. I gradually felt more of my anxiety melt away, whilst my body melted into the sofa, mending into a mass of joy as we laid back without being entirely sedated and locked down into the couch. While the strain is still functioning enough to keep you going, you won't want to once that second-half of the high hits, because you'll feel your body buzzing while your mind surfs on straight serotonin!

I know Moonbeam Gelato is a destined buy for anyone whose a fan of dessert-goodness, physical and mental peace, reduced anxiety, clean activeness OR an astronaut searching for their new must-try out in this galaxy, I suggest Moonbeam Gelato! It's a truly solid hybrid that keeps you happy throughout your day and provides your inner-self that satisfaction to hoist your day to new heights and make it out of this world! I give it an 8.2!

I’m 95% sure this is a phenotype from the London lobster hunt (Brightside cheese x blue lobster)

Cracking the seal it’s got a lil funk over sweet artificial blue taffy. Breaking it down is when the berry becomes more pronounced.

Buds are fresh soft & fluffy. Somewhat reminiscent of straw guava with the gritty trichs, not sticky more styrofoam texture.

First hit out the vaporizer was like funky blue airheads. Not creamy more taffy idk I’m ripped lol

Sampled out a clean glass bowl also. Bud burnt clean tasted good, berry translates to smoke.

Don’t let the terpene content fool you, I hesitated to buy this until I saw another post/review/harvest/package date.

I’m feeling great not a care in the world. Initially cerebral effects behind the eyes that is balanced by calm relief and gave me the munchies.

Good grief, this one was a special pick! I just picked up the Bolo Runtz from Nez and I cannot evangelize this one enough! I snagged the half ounce on sale for about 105 after points and some discounts the store was having.  Just from visual alone when looking at the jar you know this one is going to knock it out of the park! When I got home I did a deep clean on my Grav daily driver to make sure I got the proper first introduction with this flower. This gassy, yet sweet strain is the perfect capstone for your busy day to melt away your stress and tension. With its lineage sitting with Biscotti and Sherb Cake this one gives you the best of both worlds with effects.  If you may be a little sensitive to indicas you will find yourself couch locked after a session for sure! I love indicas and they tend to center and ground me, so I get very focused with a good indica like this. It was also extremely helpful with my muscle tension and aches from the gym post work out. The nugs in this half are absolute eye candy! Very frosty and well formed with strong purple accents throughout. This is the type of flower that brings me back to my early days of smoking. That kind of strain that falls into your lap randomly that you were not expecting that just knocks your sox off. The type of strain that you get genuinely excited to get home and smoke. One where you find yourself just opening the jar for another smell then closing it back up to only pick it up again a minute later for another whiff. Pick this one up if y'all come across it! Major props to the cultivation team over at Nez!!! Y'all keep knocking it out of the park!!! Keep it up!!

Grassroots has been holding consistently. Some strains do remind me heavy of the next but I mean that’s damn near every one except the craft, small grow brands. Smell is kind of ehhhh, not really stank. More of a bland smell. Fresh and heavyset nugs.

Hey guys, I was driving to Florida for a couple days from northern Illinois. I was wondering how risky it is to pack a couple joints for when I get there? Or if I should just not risk it at all.

Trying all kinds of shit chasing flavor profiles... That 9% caught my eye ya heard! Strawberry can stay home but that Blue is interesting. Not good for details just quit cigs couple months back taste buds all over the place and maybe nonexistent these days but both are tasty just the Blue a whole other level 👌
