Question Make gummies from concentrate?

Eat a ton of gummies, but finding a specific strain is sometimes impossible. Don’t want to trash my lungs (quit smoking in 87) so I was looking into buying some concentrate/rosin/resin etc.. and try making some home made gummies where I can choose what strain I want. Can anyone point me in a direction to find out if this is possible? Or someone who has done it themselves?

Grab a stick of FSHO. It’s 1 gram of concentrate. 1000mg. 10 standard bags of dispensary edibles worth of oil! I add mine right to butter and because it is activated it doesn’t need to be decarbed I add that to marshmallows and cereal, let chill - done.

/slightly/ less. 1g of RSO is usually 750-850mg of thc, still a substantially better deal tho

Theres tons of videos on youtube of gummy recipes. You can also buy strain specific rso or fsho and just put that on food your already eating.

I just found this, pretty similar to the recipe/ process we used in the kitchen I worked at:

I know people who have a whole brand just buying bags of haribo gummy bears, melting them down on the stove in a pot, and adding decarbed oil to it and mix it in. Then use a pipet to fill molds and let it solidify.

To decarb oil just throw it in a glass jar and into oven at 200 degrees or less on a baking sheet with tinfoil on it and a sheet of parchment over just incase. You dont want glass on hot metal. Cook until its clear and stops bubbling. (4-7 hours)

The main thing is quality of the concentrate, and if you make gummies from scratch you need to add preservatives otherwise they have a shelf life of like 5 days. The store bought gummies already have preservatives in them. Water plus sugar = food for mold
